"Still, I'd lie to read them." She smiled to herself, already feeling a desire to connect with this new version of him. Grinning when he turned around, she couldn't help but melt a little when his hands went into her hair. She wondered if he knew somehow that was her favorite place to be touched. "Probably. The grass is always greener, I think. When I was little, I wanted to go live with the fairies or the elves. But I'm sure there's lots of horrible things that go on in any world." She stroked his cheek gently before moving away. "Don't want you to burn something." Her fingers ran lightly over his arm before she moved to take a sip of her drink. She really hadn't wanted to move, but he was busy.
