"Right, I'm so sure," Emily yawned, rolling her eyes. She was making another sandwich for herself, amused at him leaning against her in what almost reminded her of her father's distinct lack of understanding about personal space.

Then she heard Remus from behind her and jumped three feet. "Thank god, you're here to save me." She set the knife down and bounded toward him, throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him lightly.
