WHO: Gabe and Lilo
WHAT: WAAAAAR!
WHERE: Their house in Hawaii
WARNINGS: Not at first, though later, entirely probable.

Gabe had bid Calliope goodbye with a note for Az, but since his brother wasn't around, he couldn't do much else for the time being. So he ported home, intent on crashing on the couch with a nosh. "Lilo?" He called, wondering if she was around, but no sound answered him. So he shrugged and went to flop on the couch, looking first for the TV remote.

There was a note under the TV remote, a note written in what looked like blood, but upon closer inspection would reveal itself to be pink highlighter mixed with gravy. The note was short and to the point.

I have a Nerf gun.
I am in the house.
CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON. LET'S GET IT ON.

She was upstairs, behind the bedroom door, holding a rather impressive Nerf gun, trying not to giggle.

	Gabe read it and laughed aloud, shaking his head. "That's how you wanna play?" he called, looking around for another nerf gun; they had at least five that he knew of. "You are going to regret it, Miss Lilo!" He began to stalk through each room in his best cop impression, picking up the other Nerf gun once he'd found it. (Reply to this)

	She heard him kick open a door, and quietly like a ninja, she snuck out from behind her door, unleashing a salvo of nerf darts onto his back. "MUAHAHAHA!" (Reply to this)

	"Augh!" Gabe whirled around, laughing, giving chase down the main hallway. He heard skittering nails as Danger sprinted out of harm's way, but he kept running after Lilo. "Take your punishment like a lady!" He laughed, firing off a burst that missed, but at least it was something. (Reply to this)

	Lilo dodged artfully, leaping forward and rolling like someone who was accustomed to Nerf fights fairly frequently. Moving behind the couch, she reloaded to take advantage of the safe spot. (Reply to this)

	Gabe cursed, running up to the door and using it as a cover, at least until he had to reload. "Damnit, Lilo, this is an unfair surprise." His tone was thoroughly amused, though; he hadn't anticipated this and he loved that Lilo kept making him laugh. (Reply to this)

	"You're having fun, admit it! You need to laugh, or you'll get all serious and pouty and then there'll be a rash of serious babies, AND THAT WOULD BE A CALAMITY!" She rolled back out from behind the couch, crawling along the floor as if she was in a trench. (Reply to this)

	He took the opportunity to nail her in the back, cackling. "I don't give my personality to the babies; they'd all be stoner mellow if I did!" Or at least that was what Raz figured. Gabe dove over to the couch where Lilo had been, picking up her rounds and reloading his own gun. (Reply to this)

	"Pfft, that doesn't mean that you're not serious, it just means that they're more serious." She giggled when he answered her, giving him her best evil cackle before letting Danger go. 	"It's got some other yummy stuff mixed in." She grabbed her car keys and kissed him lightly, hopping in and waiting for him to do the same. When they stopped, it was at a tiny shack with a weathered sign that looked like it had seen better days. (Reply to this)

He did kiss her on the cheek, squeezing her hand as he got into the passenger seat of her car. "God bless your freakishly tall height; I don't have to mash my knees into my chest like I do in most cars." He kissed her palm before letting her put both hands on the wheel.

Gabe liked to people-watch, and did it for a good long while, until they pulled over. "This is the fish place, or the shaved ice place? Or both?"

	She kissed him on the forehead in return. "Oh, girl cars suck. I know how much that hurts." She smiled and bounced a little in her seat as they drove. "This is the poke place, the shaved ice is across the street." She hopped out of the car, smiling and waiting to take his hand. The place looked like a dive because it was one, but the food was ridiculously fresh and good. (Reply to this)

It did look like a dive, but he'd been around enough to know that the best stuff often came from the weirdest-looking places. 	"It is a bit. The islands are really a whole lot of influences, and a lot of them are Asian." She kissed his cheek before waving at the woman behind the counter who looked like she'd been there when the building was put up. Chatting in broken Hawaiian, she ordered them a generous amount of the fish to go eat in the car. (Reply to this)

	Gabe watched idly - the woman at the bar was happy, and he knew why, and couldn't resist. "Congratulations," he said in English when she turned back to them, and she looked shocked. When she turned away again, he murmured to Lilo. "First grandchild. I couldn't let that pass without a congrats. The wife barely survived." (Reply to this)
