Who: Candy Quackenbush and Eliot Spencer.
What: Coming down after kicking ass.
When: Thursday/Friday afternoon, absolutely before Sam arrives on Saturday.
Where: The perp's apartment, the street, the Spencer ranch.
Warnings: Yup. They're grabby.

Beating up the guy had been satisfying, if easy. He was a drunk, not a fighter, an average guy with an average apartment and an average right hook. Which was to say, no match for Eliot. Or Candy, for that matter - she'd picked up a few tricks along the Abarat, and even from just watching Eliot.

When the guy was out cold, she leaned against the wall and looked at Eliot, a crooked smile on her face. "Hey," she murmured. "You ready, or you want to wait for him to wake up?"

The way Eliot gasped brought her closer to the edge, and she cried out loudly when she felt his tongue sweep over her chest. His voice, his moans - those were the things that turned her on the most, and she wrapped her arms around him tightly, clinging to him as they both finished.

Breathing hard, she managed to move off of him, settling back next to him. She chuckled, leaning against him for a moment. "We need to beat more people down."

"'S plenty bastards out there that need to be knocked down a couple notches." Eliot shrugged. He hitched his jeans back up to his hips, but didn't bother with the button or zipper. "How far are we from the hotel?"

She stretched a bit, rolling her neck and purring loudly when it popped. Snapping her fingers, the glyph went from opaque gold to translucent. While still solid, they could both see right through the craft. "About a mile at our current rate of speed, but I'm going way slow for you."

"You don't have to go slow for me. At least, not now." He flashed the slightest devious little smile. A hand moved to finger her hair.

Smiling, she thought about them going faster to the hotel. The glyph responded to her thoughts by moving accordingly. She didn't have a way to gauge the speed, but she wasn't really worried about it. Eliot was smiling, and his hand in her hair made her sigh and close her eyes. "Thanks," she murmured. "I needed that."

His answer was to lean forward and kiss the curve of her neck.
