"Dean, huh? Nice to meet you. Fortunately, I can stitch just fine one-handed. You sound like you know what to do with your arm, so I'll leave you to it and get you some ice as soon as we're done. Here, Judah, let me take care of him..."
After offering a few terse but generally friendly words of greeting to Dean, Judah obediently switches places with Sable -- not really a servant, more of a partner who tends to do his talking with things other than his voice. He continues to clean Teague's scratches with surprisingly gentle hands while Sable looks over Dean.
"This actually doesn't look too bad. I can't give you any anesthetic or anything, but I've got some painkillers in back that should easily take the edge off if you want 'em. Okay, uncle Teague, I'll take care of your splinters in a minute. Judah, I need your hands." She cleans the cut carefully as she tells Judah how to find and prepare the needle, which comes from a sterile unopened packet. Once he has, she makes quick and easy work of Dean's hand -- tidy and professional, no hospital could have done better. When she's done, she also takes a few minutes to bandage any other shallow cuts or scrapes he has, just to keep them from getting infected until the boys have an opportunity to shower.
Once she's done with Dean, she sends Judah off to get an ice pack and bring out her pill stash.
"Now, uncle Teague, let me see those splinters. The two of you can stay here tonight, by the way. You'll have to share a bed, but I can put you in the spare room upstairs. Don't worry, it's a big bed."
