"You did tell me. You said it was because of she's your cousin." He tucked his hair behind his ears and looked down, sighing. "It really does me some good about Cassie and Sor." He smiled a little and pulled a knee to his chest, resting his chin upon it. "You know, it all turned out okay, though. I'm not proud of what I did, but nobody's dead. We're still friends for the most part." He smiled dreamily. "It's selfish, but I've got you. It's all I ever wanted since I was about ... thirteen? Ten? I don't even know when."
