"Ice cream's everywhere." She made a face. "I'm not really sure if it's always good ice cream..." She looked down. The water gave way to land. There was Mexico. Mia didn't touch down until they'd reached a nice part of the beach, away from most other people. "We can go searching for ice cream," she said as she let go of her mom. The sound of the waves against the coast was loud and soothing. "I wish there was something easy to do. Like move or something. I think it was easier back home." That was mostly because her dad could say one word and make her feel better. "I don't know." She exhaled.
