Who: Charlie Crews (prison years), Angie Spivey
What: Arrival
Where: Streets of LA
When: Today
Warnings: Potential violence.
Notes: Charlie here is AU. He's been serving a life sentence for the murder of the Seabolt family. He was a cop, and he was set up by cops to take the fall, and he he's been in prison a long time. he's been abused by prisoners and guards, and he's not talking. He'd have no idea what to do with the computer in his pocket, so he starts with a log.
The day was bright and clear, the sun shining down, making the blacktop of the roads and paved basketball courts burn. A whoosh of air announced the arrival of a new presence in the world, a convicted killer named Charlie Crews. He's wearing the standard blue slacks and T-shirt that mark him an inmate at Pelican Bay up near the Oregon border.
How he ended up in the middle of a busy LA street is anybody's guess. he has no idea how, or what, has happened. One minute he was in his cell, reading The path To Zen for the millionth time, and then he was standing in the middle of an intersection in LA, causing traffic to back up, horns blaring.
Well. At least he still had his book, and he fisted it firmly in his left hand, his right still too weak to do much of anything productive or useful.
