"Good." Laurie offered a warm smile - she hadn't realized how much she'd expected him to answer the other way. Logically, she'd like to think that it wouldn't have mattered, which ever way he answered, but there was a part of her that had dreaded rejection from him.
She shifted to stand, leaning over the table to press the lightest of kisses against his forehead, dropping right back into her seat with a light smirk. "Not me. I wouldn't know what to do with normal if it bit me. So we can skip a lot of the random shit, right?"
