Hermione pushed her head into a shop and bustled around. She needed to feel productive. It was Saturday and while, she appreciated the break, she felt tired and groggy just lounging. She had been out of reading material for a while and although she could reread one of her cherished books, she was craving something new. She thought about picking some up for Ron too, hoping it would help show how much she really did care for him.

Examinations were only a few weeks away, but unlike most of the students at school, Alice's schedule was fairly light by comparison. She also felt that she needed to get out more, it wouldn't do for the daughter of Shang Tsung to be a hermit.

She took a gamble at some of the books on the so called 'occult', but it seemed that each book she picked was rubbish, written by fools that only wanted to fool the gullible.

At times like this, she missed having quick access to her father's library.

	"Excuse me," Hermione said politely as she picked one off of a shelf. She didn't want to get in the girl's way. She read the back of it and immediately put it back. It sounded boring to her, so she scanned for another one. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Hermione took the book and examined it before looking at the girl. She looked so familiar, but she just brushed it off. That had been happening to her a lot lately. "Thank you. I appreciate it. I need some new reading material." (Reply to this) (Parent)
