Waverly was naturally a morning person. The years of being able to fly only at night had done away with her ability to wake up cheerful before the sun came up, but now that she was free to do as she wished, she found herself rising with the sun, and quite glad to greet it as she started her day.

She'd already taken her shower and preened, and was now watching the toaster oven. She had grown rather fond of the concept of pizza bagels, and was humming cheerily as she waited for it to be done. A mug of tea sat next to her, and the kettle was still on for Scott's drink when he made his way in. He rarely slept in much later than her, if he didn't wake up first.

She sighed happily, peeking out the window. It was such a beautiful day. The weather in Genosha was much more to her liking.

"We should. And I will move as soon as I can. . . I will maintain a home stateside, but I'm sure I'll think of something to do with it that doesn't waste the space. Perhaps offer it as a rent-free duplex to a homeless family. It would be almost free for me, and I'd be doing a good deed in the process."

She finished her tea, thinking for a moment. "I'll work on that while you train."
