Who: Kitty Pryde, Piotr Rasputin, some purifiers
What: Kidnapping, violence, that sort of thing.
Where: Starting at her apartment, moving to some undisclosed location.
Warnings: Violence.
She had been napping. It really wouldn't have happened if they hadn't caught her half asleep. She heard footsteps outside her door and they weren't Piotr's. She sat up just as the door opened. She phased out just before a tranquilizer sped through her.
There was a harsh curse and a high pitched buzzing suddenly started. Pain radiated from her head all the way down her body, every nerve on fire. She screamed once in surprise before she phased back in, pain gone as quickly as it started, and then there was a sting in her upper arm. "Fuck."
She looked down at the dart, pulling it out quickly and throwing it to the floor. She jumped from her bed, trying to figure out why she didn't keep weapons close to her bed any longer. She ran toward her window, She was only on the second floor, a jump down wouldn't be that far.
One of the intruders tried to grab her from behind. She reached behind him, easily finding sensitive spots to claw, pulling back and kicking the man back into a wall. She felt herself sway as she reached the window. There was another sting in her leg. She pulled that dart out, another intruder coming at her, punching her soundly in the face. She came back, punching him much harder than he had hit her, she saw a bit of his blood splatter on the carpet from the lip she had just split. She reached for the window, swayed and stumbled to her knees. Her vision went black. Someone tried to grab her and she hit and clawed with everything she could, but her body wasn't listening well, and soon she wasn't moving at all. And then she didn't remember anything.
She woke up in a small cell with harsh lights. There was buzzing and Kitty wasn't sure if it was the lights, or in her head. She looked around, no windows, she couldn't even see a door. It didn't really matter. She phased out, planing to just walk out, and the pain came back, forcing her back into a tangible state. "Fuck," she muttered, glaring at the walls, trying to prepare herself for anything that might come next.
