Alma walked over and put her hands on Drew's shoulders, bending down. "Didja do all th'stuff y'Daddy asked?"
Drew gave an exasperated sigh. "Yeah, Ma."
"Don't be leavin' th'yard, y'hear? I'll be watchin' y'all from the window while I get th'dishes done. Don't be gettin' in y'Papaw's way, neither." She stood up tall. "Have fun, girls." Going up to the house she climbed onto the porch and went thru the screen door.
Drew looked over to the girls. "So y'wanna see th'horses?"
