For the moment, Alice was worried that her father really was mad at her, but then when he called her an 'abomination'-something he'd never call her if he wanted to insult her.
She pretended to struggle, but as they stepped outside, the act was null. There were no more purifiers around, and the people that were outside seemed more concerned about the 'woman's' gun than with Alice.
