Who: Alice, Shang Tsung and Purifiers (NPC)
Where: undisclosed cell in London-not for long though
when: sometime at night
What: Purifiers plot
Rating: R for violence and ass kickery

She'd put up a fight, but in the end she was taken down with a tranq dart. Alice woke up with tied to a chair and blind folded, feeling dizzy and her mouth feeling like cotton.

After a half hour they took a break, disappointed that they got no reaction from her. Even with the beatings and threats, she kept silent, staring a head.

'Those fools' she thought. Her mother would be proud, not answering them. She was seething inside from the insults they gave her and her mother.: half-breed', 'traitorous bitch'..but she couldn't respond, not only would it give them what they wanted but it was a waste of energy.

She had to stay focused and think of an escape plan.

A painful slap brought her to attention.

"Listen, mutt!" She felt her chest tighten. "They just told me some of my men are dead..thanks to your 'slut of a mother', I plan to make you pay for what she did.."

Alice stopped listening, the anger burning up and becoming harder to contain. She could feel it seething through her skin and..

and she broke.

The kick to the stomach knocked her painfully to the floor, the scream that escaped from her lips releasing the anger and the energy in an all around attack.

'What the..?" he barely had time to respond as he and the other people in the room were enveloped in a sickly green energy that flooded the room, bright enough that it was visible even through the exterior of the building.

When it finally faded, the girl was on her side, free from the ropes and blind fold but it was pointless as she was so weak she was struggling to breath let alone try to move.

The purifiers that once occupied the room with her were nowhere to be found, but in their place were piles of ash and bone fragments.

A purple vortex open then, and Shang Tsung stepped through it. The portal closed immediately. He looked and saw the ashes and fragmented bones. Only someone very powerful could have done this.

And then his eyes fell upon Alice. And she was having diffculty in drawing breath. This was good; his incantations had allowed his portal to appear in her location. He knelt down beside her. "Alice. I have come for you.. and I swear, they will pay. But first.. you need rejuvenation."

She came to when she felt her father's presence, but she was too drained to make a reply. Pale and bruised from the beatings and energy blast, she was also shivering hard from the drain.

The blast alerted everyone in the building that something was wrong. The freak shouldn't have been able to cause such a blast, not with the tranquilizers, they ran inside to the basement. Stopping when they opened the door and found the ashes, the prisoner and a man with her.

"What the fuck happened?" One of them, a woman, pointed a gun at Tsung. "Who the hell are you?"

"Don't shoot." Said one of the three men. "He may be a freak like the Mutt."

If she had the energy, Alice would've scowled.

Shang did not answer, instead holding a hand to his daughter's back. He was mumbling something in a Mandarin dialect, his hand glowing and imparting energy to her as he did so.

Once that was done, he stood up and smiled wickedly at them. "Who am I? Your destruction. You will die and live forever within me." He held his arms out, palms open. A fireball flew from his hand and went toward the first man. Once one fireball left, another formed and shot folowed by yet another one..

Alice felt a nice flow of heat as her energy was restored and her breathing eased and she tried to get up, her muscles shaking, but she could move atleast. She removed the blind fold as she tried to stand up, moving slowly so she wouldn't get any dizzier.

The man tried to duck but he wasn't fast enough, the fire left a charred skeleton. The second fire ball got the other man full on, as he was too shocked to move, the woman tried to keep her composure, aiming the tranq gun at him.

Shang laughed as he saw green essences begin to leave the skeletons. He chanted in some unknown language, holding his arms up.. and the souls flew into him. He felt much more refreshed now. But then he saw the woman with the tranq gun, as it was being aimed at him. "No, no.. we cannot have that."

He mumbled in his ancient tongue, pointing a hand to her throat, laughing as her oxygen supply was being cut off. Almost as if her windpipe was being choked by an invisible hand..

Alice watched as the woman struggled to breath, falling onto her knees as she dropped the gun, grasping and trying to claw at her neck.

She wanted to do something..punish the woman for her insults at her and her mother. But her energy was still low, the boast she got from Tsung was only enough to get her to her feet.

She had to settle for mentally cursing her, very loudly.

The purifier, all the while, kept grasping at her throat, trying to not pass out. But you couldn't fight something you couldn't touch, especially when you had no powers yourself.

Shang smiled at this. He tightened his hold, cutting off more air. He saw the gun drop. He then stopped, moving quickly, performing a cartwheel kick. One foot hit her head, and then the other leg did the same, knocking her on her back.. and in pain.

He ran over and knelt down beside her, staring into her eyes. "Your soul.. is mine." Then he brought his hand down, in a knife-hand gesture, and struck her neck with force. He held a hand over her, watching as blue mist came from her fallen form and into him..

Alice watched as he finished the woman off, though she would've liked to do so herself-this was just as good.

That being done, she wanted to leave. She also wanted a coat, or a blanket, she was only in her pajama pants and t-shirt after all. There was also the massive sweet tooth attack that usually followed a strong power strain. Unlike her father, she couldn't take human souls or energy, so in order to quickly restore energy she needed sugar.

'I'd kill for a chocolate bar.' She thought, watching Tsung take the woman's soul. 'Maybe some hot chocolate..or one of those fancy coffee drinks.' Sorcerer-in-training maybe, but she was also a 16 year old girl, and as every one knows-16 year old girls will go apeshit for chocolate.

Shang grabbed the woman's legs and pulled her farther into the cell, placing her against a wall hidden from the doorway view. Then he cast a fireball down at the body.. burning it to the bones. Great, that was taken care of nicely.

He now immediately changed his physical form, now taking on the shape of the woman he had just killed. She picked up the tranq gun and walked over to Alice, muttering another incantation and placed a hand on the girl. Then she said, "Come on, let's get out of here."

The energy boost helped her keep focused as she reserved her energy, though she was still seething inside as she and the 'woman' made their way outside. Now that she wasn't blindfolded, she was able to study the area, and it caught her by surprise that it was more or less an office building-only with small fire arms and fliers.

Two men were sorting out papers at the desk, Alice guessed that they were the last and least important or they would've gone after her as well during the blast. They looked up.

"The mutt finally talk?" One of them asked.

Alice ignored them, but as they reached the excit, the men barely had time to yell out as their pens were wretched from their hands and jammed into their temples. Even that exertion caused her to sway a little.

'Ohh,' She thought, trying to regain her composer. 'That..may've not been the best idea.' It was worth it though, fools called her 'mutt' one time too many.

Shang just nodded at them in his new form, agreeing with them. "Yes.. the boss has asked me to take her for extermination."

But then he saw the pens thrust into the other agents. This could not be good. He chose to forget taking all their souls now; there was no time for that. It was quite a temptation. But he managed to hold that off. He had enough for the time being, anyway. He hoped no one was living. But just in case..

"How dare you?! Ohh... ohh, you will DIE for that!! Slowly. You're going to regret doing that, you deceitful abomination. Come!" And at that, he pretended to give a forceful tug, signaling Alice to play along as he led his daughter toward the door..

For the moment, Alice was worried that her father really was mad at her, but then when he called her an 'abomination'-something he'd never call her if he wanted to insult her.

She pretended to struggle, but as they stepped outside, the act was null. There were no more purifiers around, and the people that were outside seemed more concerned about the 'woman's' gun than with Alice.

Unfortunately, the London air in March wasn't suited for any pajama tops save those made from fleece-and Alice wasn't wearing fleece. She tried to keep herself from shivering too hard.

Damn those purifiers.

Shang looked around as well, pleased that there were hardly any more threats now. "They thought they could kill us, pusnish. But they paid with their souls." It probably sounded odd coming from an agent.

Since they were mostly in the clear, he morphed back into himself. Then he waved his hand and created a portal. "Come, this way! Just another moment and we will be safely at home.."
