Twenty minutes was just enough time for her to pack a duffel bag and make her way towards Dan's building, doing her best not to think as she made her way through the city. Laurie leaned back against him as he moved against her, arms lifting up over her head to curl around his neck, effectively stretching out her torso. She was a bit surprised at the conversation they just had, and it might have curbed her aggressiveness slightly... marriage hadn't really been something she'd thought about much before. And why would it? Marriage was a very normal, everyday thing, and life had been far from ordinary. It didn't mean she disliked the idea, though. Far from it.

She tilted her head up into the water for a moment, then turned it enough to nip at his jaw, pressing a kiss in against his throat. Random non-proposals or not, he'd promised fun in the shower, and she was holding him to it.

The conversation sort of just slipped out, but Dan had been thinking about that for a bit, even before they'd ended up here. Of course, back there, it was unlikely for them to have any kind of ceremony with them hiding out, but now, here he could give Laurie the proper things he wanted to. A stable home and maybe even a family.

Dan hadn't really done this before and really, the shower probably wasn't the best choice to learn or to attempt it for the first time, but for some reason, he was in that ind of mood. The exploring kind where he learned more and more about her and what stimulated her rather than the heated sex.
