Who: Delirium and Eddie Blake/The Comedian
What: Donuts, AKA Del's catch-all communication food
When/Where: Backdated to Sunday evening, a donut shop in NYC (If Eddie were to go get donuts, wherever he'd go? We'll say it works.)
Warnings: R. Eddie has a mouth on him, and Del has no concept of 'obscene'.

Del made her way to a donut shop, hopping up onto a stool at the counter to wait for her new friend, Eddie. It was a real donut shop, about a block down the street from Eddie's house- the kind that serves coffee, ice cream, and donuts, unapologetic about the health risks of any of their wares, usually with one word spelled wrong in a kitschey way in its name. In this case, it was the Tastee Donut Company, and Delirium had to agree with their assessment.

The plate in front of her had a dozen donuts on it of various sorts- sugar covered, sprinkles, nuts. Each with a little piece missing. If Eddie really wanted one when he got there, he'd have to order his own.

She hadn't told him where to meet her, specifically; things like that tended to slip her mind. Still, when he thought of 'donut shop', he'd pick the right one. She knew this kind of thing. As for finding her, well. If the large, retro headphones on the ears of a swaying, somehow-dancing-while-sitting teenage girl didn't give her away, the multicolor hair (that seemed to change color of its own volition) would. She could do normal, but really, where was the fun in that?

He scoffed, "Love me already, sweetheart? We haven't even had sex yet," He nodded at the waitress, who gave him a look, and took his coffee, having a drink, "But you are fucking right there, Del. I'm mental. Bullseye."

The noise she made at his mention of sex was probably best described as a 'squee'. "Sex is gross, Eddie. Not funny at all~" It was his second statement, however, that really got her happy, reaching over to give his shoulders a hug. "Exactly. Mine!"

He gave her a look, then, the 'squee' enough to get a slight smile out of him, "What, don't like boys? Afraid of cooties?" He shook his head before he was being hugged and he looked at her, deadpanning, "Uh huh. Now get off," He stated slowly.

Delirium pulled away at his words and nodded at the mention of being afraid of cooties, seeming completely serious. He was probably better off not asking about that.

Sitting back, she seemed uncomfortable for a second, wrinkling her nose uncomfortably before winding up and sneezing- the effort of which produced a small flock of butterflies, fluttering from her mouth.

"Mm. Allergies."

He stared at her for a long moment before speaking.

"What the Hell was that?"

"Allergies," She repeated simply, completely oblivious to what was so strange about the butterflies. They were her friends too, after all.

"To what?" He asked, frowning a bit. He hadn't seen anyone sneeze butterflies, what could he say?

She seemed to have to think about that. "Monday? Or possibly melancholy. They're very close, you know. Sort of like purple, but with more panache."

"Right," Yeah, she was getting on his nerves, but at least she wasn't in his face, and frankly, he didn't mind the company, all told. God Help him.

"I need a drink."
