Part of her protested, wanted to keep going. It took Lois a few moments to get her bearings. She almost wanted to ask a stupid question, if he was using pheromones all the time, because there couldn't be any other explanation for what he did to her.
"I think they were already addictive a long time ago," she said softly, with a small smile. "Um..." She reached up and wiped a small lipstick smear off his lips with her thumb. "Yeah, slow is... is good." She sounded like she was trying to convince or remind herself, though. Part of her wanted to know what the point of slow was, if they'd already been together, and lost so much time already. But she took a deep breath, and tried to focus on finishing her dinner. With a few glances up at Clark, of course.
