Entry tags:ilya monroe, malakai chmelyk, rurik markov, timey wimey plot

Who: Malakai, Ilya, and Rurik
What: Effects of the Timey Wimey plot, vampire style
When/Where: Tonight, an abandoned house outside Rurik's shop, USA
Warnings: Graphic imagery, mun-coordinated violence, character death. Ish.

Malakai hesitated at the top of the stairs leading to the basement of the dilapidated house he had sensed Rurik in, trying to compose himself for the eventual scene. The smell of drugs and blood flooded his senses, and he had to focus, really focus just to hear the flighty heartbeat of the man downstairs. He couldn't feel the witch's magic in the air, which was perhaps the most unnerving thing, and he finally steeled himself enough to make the trip down the stairs.

He wasn't sure which was more upsetting; the sight of the man hanging from the ceiling, hooks straight through his shoulders, pale enough to already be dead, or the fact that he was momentairly relieved that the man was still in one piece. His steps toward the body were slow, hesitant, as if he was afraid his return was going to ruin the illusion, and scare the man's soul from his body. Once he was close enough, he reached up to undo the chains from the ceiling, taking him down with the hooks still intact. Removing them would cause him to lose the rest of his blood.

Malakai was startlingly gentle as he set Rurik on a nearby table, sitting upright to try and prevent as much bloodloss as possible. He moved forward to draw the man's head to his shoulder, shocked at how cold he felt. He was in shock, he realized, feeling the tremble in his hand as he brushed the man's hair from his face.

"What happened, lover? How did it come to this?" He rocked them gently, waiting for Ilya to arrive, or Rurik to rouse himself, unsure of just what else he could do.

There was a flash of recognition at the words, and Kai bulked, hands releasing their hold and moving to Rurik's waist to pull him close.

"As you wish," He growled into the witch's ear, worrying the flesh between his teeth as he walked them back to the bed. They fell recklessly, tangling in the sheets as Kai worked to suggest Rurik onto his back. There was no question in his mind he wanted the other man, other vampire, whatever he was now. And if he had to prove that to the both of them, to make this feel somewhat normal again, so be it.

Rurik needed no urging to turn onto his back, exposing his ass to his lover. Yes, this was what he needed. He pressed his cheek to the mattress, hands fisting the sheet to give him leverage against the breech of muscle as Kai moved against him. He gasped, hips rolling back to meet Kai's movement.

Malakai's pace was hard, heated, but obviously out of passion, and not rage. He nipped the man's shoulder, the back of his neck, at the most getting a pinprick of blood here or there. It wasn't going to take him long to reach his peak at this rate, the thrumming of the blood in his veins and the power of the room already causing the heat to build along his spine.

Rurik rocked back against him, the passion he felt for Kai taking over and blurring out everything else. He groaned, moving in perfect time with Kai's thrusts, needing to feel this closeness, to reaffirm their physical union, to make himself feel whole again.

He only held out for a few more thrusts before burying himself deep in his lover, coming with a cry. His face was buried against the man's neck, the warm presence of tears startling even Kai. When the noise was repeated, he tried to muffle himself against Rurik's neck, unsure of what was going on until he felt fresh tears in his eyes.

He was crying. He wasn't aware he could cry, the realization enough to shock another noise from him. A sob.

Christ, he really was losing it.

The angle and position of their bodies made it difficult, but Rurik managed to turn around so that he was facing Kai. Tears were perhaps as foreign to him as to Kai, and yet they glistened in his eyes. He shifted, pulling closer to Kai, and slipping his arms up and around the other's neck, holding Kai to his chest, hands in his hair.

Malakai let Rurik move him however he had to so they could embrace, clinging to the man much like he had in the basement. The memory just made him push out another deep breath, as it took all the power in his body to not sob more openly.

His hands ran along the man's body, light and quick, almost frantic, as if to ensure himself the man was still there.

Rurik mimicked the motion, hands moving over Kai's body. He was, quite literally, exhausted. It was all he could do to keep himself from slumping against Kai, now that he'd worked through his aggressions. he still had confusion, but he could deal with that.

"'M so tired, lover."

"I told you to rest, stubborn ass," The tone was nothing but fond, almost soft, as Kai moved to scoot them up the bed, pulling the sheets around them.

"Rest, now. I will be here when you wake up." Maybe not for a while in between- he did have windows to board, clothes to fetch, and bodies to take care of. But Rurik would likely sleep the day away, as most new vampires did, so he would have time to run his errands, and keep them off the other's mind.

Rurik shifted away from Kai, to settle in the bed. He sighed, eyes already shut. He didn't feel the same need for sleep as when he'd been human, but more a heaviness in his chest. He said nothing, already giving in to the darkness.

Malakai waited until he felt Rurik settle in, before slipping away. He handled the window in the room first, taking one of the quilts from the end of the bed and draping it over the frame, effectively blocking the light. That done, he started down the stairs, fixing just enough of the scene so that the house would be at least safe for the other vampire. The entire process took him no more than an hour, since he was unwilling to dwell on any one thing past necessity. If he thought to long, he was going to go crazy.

Crazier.
