"You think?" Lilo raised an eyebrow and pretended to be upset, but she mostly just laughed. It was hard for her to pretend to be angry when she wasn't. Pretending to be a hero in one of the black and white movies she favored, she tossed her hair. "It takes more to scare me off, buddy."

When the cherries arrived, she hopped up to grab the cake and unwrap it. She unwrapped his slice first, pushing it over toward him, then her own. She was dragging her finger through the frosting and was sucking it off her index finger when he mentioned Torii and Charles. "Wait, Aunt Torii and Chuck? He is kind of cute right now. Go Torii." She giggled and stretched back out.
