Who: Lilo and Teja.
What: Cake!
When: Late Tuesday night.
Where: Mordhaus.
Warnings: Just going with a yes.

After playing with Stitch and assuring herself that her best friend in the entire universe was indeed still himself, she kissed him on the cheek and went to pack up a few slices of cake. She put them on plates and then wrapped them with brightly colored cellophane. She wrapped up three of them before tugging her hair into a ponytail and slipping on a pair of tennis shoes. Her wallet went in one pocket, and then she took the cake and walked to the portkey nearest her house. After bumping it with her hip, she was on the front steps of Mordhaus.

She found the nearest Klokateer and smiled brightly. "Hi! I'm here to see Teja Warthooth. I'm unarmed, though you can frisk me if you have to, and this cake is really just cake. You can have a piece if you want to try it." She might have done this before.

Teja had gotten done with washing the glitter off his hands from playing Dress Up Bossman's Desk with his sister and new punk friend. They seemed to want some time alone, anyway, so he excused himself early and went to find something more productive to do. What he did, of course, was sit down at the large CCTV console somewhere within the bowels of the fortress and put on a headset which gave him access to earpieces of all the roadies currently stationed outside Mordhaus.
When he saw Lilo's curvaceous form walk up the front steps of the monstrous castle, he smirked, and pressed the button to talk to that particular roadie.
"Let her in, 883, escort her to Control Central 3. I'll be waiting." Then he switched to another button, "490, I need you to bring two tall glasses of milk and a couple - make that a jar of maraschino cherries to Control Central 3. Make it double quick, klokateer." He smiled and waited for Lilo to arrive, and kicked his feet up on the low filing cabinet nearby, stretching out in the swivel chair, arms over his head. He watched the progress of both roadies and their charges as they made their way from one camera to the next.

Lilo smiled as the Klokateer suddenly started to escort her within the castle, smirking slightly. She never did understand all of the security features of Mordhaus, nor had she ever tried. She figured she'd just end up giving herself a headache.

She looked around with some curiosity, looking at the sparse decoration. When the Klokateer stopped and opened a door for him, she smiled and thanked him, squeezing his shoulder lightly. Balancing the cake on one arm, she looked at Teja, then at the monitors. "Wow, it's like an electronics store in here."

Teja stood when the door was opened, and took the cake from her arm, to set on top of the filing cabinet. "It's one of the five control points of Mordhaus, this is for sector 3, but I can see all five sectors, just as a precaution. You need to know as much as possible when you're dealing with a threat. Hey there, pretty." He kissed Lilo's cheek and quietly dismissed the roadie. "Milk and cherries are on their way, because I saw the cake." He smiled slightly and offered her the second swivel chair in the room.

"Small, cozy, but it's one place that nobody usually will come in and bother me when I need time off from everything." He took his seat again and looked up at the progress of their drinks and the cherries. "So, were you just bored, or did you really want to come see me again so soon?"

"Still, it's really impressive." She was looking at the Klokateers buzzing around like ants, cleaning debris from one room, patrolling in another hallway. The kiss to her cheek distracted her, and she smiled, ducking her head a little. She hadn't brought forks, but she didn't object to eating with her hands. "You're so smart. I love cherries." She plopped down in the other chair, toeing off her shoes and setting them aside.

She stretched out her legs onto a desk, taking care to make sure that she didn't knock over anything or set them near a keyboard. "Can't it be both, Teja?" She grinned and reached out to poke him in the leg. "And are you saying you're not happy to see me?"

Teja pushed a bit of hair out of his face and shrugged, "I might just be a little bit surprised, but it's a good surprise, I think." He traced a visual line up her stunning legs and then up to her eyes. "So I suppose I didn't scare you off last night at the waterfall. Damn, I'll have to try harder." The smile on the redhead's face showed that he was joking. "Ah, the milk and cherries are here." He said, opening the door as the klokateer approached, and snagged the serving tray from him, practically slamming the door in his face.
"Here's a bit of a surprise. My sister's currently in Charlie's office. With Charlie." Teja pitched his voice lower, seductive, and added, "Alone."

"You think?" Lilo raised an eyebrow and pretended to be upset, but she mostly just laughed. It was hard for her to pretend to be angry when she wasn't. Pretending to be a hero in one of the black and white movies she favored, she tossed her hair. "It takes more to scare me off, buddy."

When the cherries arrived, she hopped up to grab the cake and unwrap it. She unwrapped his slice first, pushing it over toward him, then her own. She was dragging her finger through the frosting and was sucking it off her index finger when he mentioned Torii and Charles. "Wait, Aunt Torii and Chuck? He is kind of cute right now. Go Torii." She giggled and stretched back out.

He sat back down and offered her one glass of milk, and thanked her with a bow of his head for the cake. "He scolded me for not telling him my sister was hot. I almost heard the older him for half a second, through all the grit." He took a bite of the cake, holding it in such a way where he didn't get frosting on his hands. He shook his head, "It's weird. It's like you, seeing your dad so young. For me, he's one of the most influential father figures I have. Seeing him so young gives me perspective in the whole thing. That I wasn't as much of a pain in his ass that I was trying to be. He probably knew every move I was going to make before I made it." He shook his head with a smile, chuckling to himself.

"How's your dad taking things, by the way? Your mom always is pretty zen about things. Have you talked to your teachers yet?"

She took the glass of milk with her not-sticky hand and sipped. She set it down on a nearby filing cabinet, not wanting to put it by any electronics. She listened to Teja speaking, curling her toes and smiling a little. "Charles is sweet, I think. I don't think many people see that. I know everyone sees it as just business, but I've always thought that for him to put up with Dethklok for so long. It's a little bit like having really unruly puppies. You could give them up - and it's probably the best idea. But if you keep them? I think it means you care." She smiled and reached over to steal a cherry.

Holding it by the stem, she nibbled it thoughtfully. "Daddy's all right. So is Mom, I think. I'm trying to give them some distance. If everything goes back to normal like it always does, I don't think that it's fair for me to have them get attached, or give them too many glimpses into what I'll be." She shrugged. Then she blinked. "You know, I haven't even thought about talking to Bill yet. I should find him." Nibbling more frosting, she cocked her head. She wanted to know how Toki was taking things, but she didn't want to ask.

"Charles is like their big brother, or their father. They treat him like their father most of the time - Nathan especially. He throws tantrums when Charles says no to him, and he pouts when Charles puts his foot down. Toki sees him as some sort of frightening robot or something like that... Toki's elated, right now. Apparently, things are in motion that set off my family's conception. The younger Skwisgaar wound up being his after all. It's very romantic." He shrugged one shoulder.

"So, it occurred to me earlier today that even though you were raised by Brenda, I know utterly nothing about what you like, what you do." Taking another bite of his cake, he looked up at her with a look that was mostly a question.

"And that's its own kind of love." She smiled and took another sip of her milk. "And really? Oh, that is romantic!" She couldn't help grinning and bouncing girlishly in her chair. "Oh, that's good!" It meant that Teja would get made in his own time, that his family would be as it should be. It also meant that Toki would be happy, and Toki should be happy. Lilo didn't like thinking of Toki as anything less.

She chuckled when he asked about her, licking her lower lip. "You're asking me now?" That made her laugh, and she continued to eat, plucking tiny pinches of frosting and licking them off of her fingers. "What I do? Well, professionally, I surf. Big wave, mostly, though I avoid tow-in. Just doesn't seem sportsman-like. Half of the fun is the chase, you know? For fun, I read, I dance, I paint. I go surfing with Cassie when it's the off-season for me. I hang out with my friends." She didn't know what else to say without specific questions.

Setting aside his cake and taking a brief moment to drink some milk, Teja listened to Lilo with a small smile, "You dance? Ballroom, club? Exotic?" He added the last with a smirk and a browraise, and he leaned over to grab the jar of cherries, pulling one out with his fingers and popping it into his mouth. "Okay, that was mean. Do you do anything... What I mean is, what do you like doing for dates? I don't date. I haven't for a while. My dating experience involves swords and daggers."

Offering the jar, he looked up at her, "I'm sorry I ask this after last night."

"I dance. Ballroom, club, hula, ballet, belly, I did take a stripper class but honestly? It's just fun. Really, any kind of dancing I can do. I kept taking hula classes, and I just kept taking every class I could. It wasn't mean." She thought about what he'd asked and scrunched up her nose. "You know, I don't really know? I haven't really dated much. I was almost twenty-one before I lost my virginity, Teja."

She took one of the offered cherries and tossed it into her mouth. "It's okay, I suggested swimming. And I think I'm open to finding out what I like. If you want to help."

"I know ballroom and another form," Teja said with a nod, before snagging another cherry, "Swimming was actually a great idea. I like the water. Not as much as you seem to, obviously, but I do love to swim and dive. I like to read, I particularly enjoy older books on arcane magic, forgotten religions and spiritual practices. Things like that. Whenever I go out, I try to stop by old book stores or antique shops to see what they have. I've gotten pretty lucky a couple times, found an old handwritten copy written by an gnostic monk from about the 1300s, off in a dusty corner of a store in New Delhi. It's in the library back home, now, but I could bet you anything, it's sitting in that store right now, collecting dust." He shrugged. "It's kind of like a treasure hunt. I think you'd like it."

"What other?" She curled her toes around the edge of the desk, smiling. "You can tell me, I told you I know how to pole dance. Which you know, it's really hard when you're kind of not naturally sexy at all." She liked to listen to him talk, and she smiled a little bit. "That's really awesome. We should do that sometime. I've ... kind of always been into voodoo, and Bill really helped me out and nurtured that. So I like looking for really old, obscure texts. Though honestly, I have to go talk to people more often than not. Thank goodness for portkeys."

She reached out with a fingerful of frosting and touched it to his nose. "Boop."

"Ballet, it was to help with my swordsmanship. Charles suggested it, actually." He didn't seem too upset to admit it, though he was naturally apprehensive to admit such a thing. Ballet wasn't metal. He smiled when she wiped the frosting on his nose, and rolled his chair closer to her with a brow raised and a lopsided, toothy grin on his face. "Going to lick that off for me, sugar? And if you don't think you're sexy, you're gravely, sorely mistaken." Letting his eyes wander over her gorgeous body for a moment, Teja just made sure he was seeing things right. He was.

"I've heard a lot of fencers do that. Boxers too, but that might just be a rumor. I hope it's true." She grinned and shrugged. "Ballet's difficult if you're a guy. Lots of lifts, precise lower body movements. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

When he moved closer, she grinned in return. "I could, if you wanted." She leaned closer and gently licked the frosting from his nose, moving closer to kiss him after she'd swallowed. When their lips parted, she didn't move away entirely. "Sexy isn't about my body. I'm in shape because I get pounded by waves almost constantly. I've got my mother's legs and my father's eyes - biology. Sexy is something in the brain that I don't understand. I don't get it. I go out with my girlfriends, and they know how to flirt, they know how to handle it when a guy gives them a phone number. I assume that they want to play video games, or maybe go to the shooting range." She shrugged. "I don't get it."

The kiss was welcome and just on this side of rough, and Teja enjoyed it thoroughly - especially with the taste of frosting still lingering on Lilo's lips and tongue. "Sexy is about how you present yourself. It's about knowing what you like, and being assertive in getting what you want. You're physically attractive, and that's a part of it, too, but the way you know how to show it off is what makes the body sexy." Slipping his fingers through her thick, dark hair, he continued, "As far as those suggestions, I like those, too. I'm no good at video games, as you've already witnessed, but I like the shooting range." His lips pressed to the corner of her jaw, before moving up to nibble her earlobe. "Sometimes all it takes," he murmured low, against her ear, "is knowing what you're looking for, and what works on most people." He leaned back into his chair, and popped another cherry in his mouth.

"I spend too much time watching people interact with other people, I think. It's problematic when you start to notice certain patterns about humanity in general. How the social standard of flirtation works, how everything in the world really boils down to who's stroking whose cock at any given point in time. Really what bothers me the most is that Sadako's husband-thing-guy was right all along. They're all dancing to his tune." He took another cherry and held it between his teeth, grinning at her with a slightly wild look in his eye.

Lilo blinked, listening to what he was saying. "I'm - " She chuckled and shook her head. "I just wear what I want. And I like makeup because I like painting. It's more canvas. It's playing with color and matte versus glossy." Her voice trailed off as his fingers entered her hair, and she reached back to take it down. "I like the shooting range too. I've got a bunch of my own guns, actually. Well, I did. I guess they're not here." She almost looked forlorn before he started kissing and nipping her earlobe. "Unf," she murmured, a tiny gasping noise catching in her throat.

She leaned back when he leaned back, nodding. "I think that's why I don't like flirting - you know, how most people think of it. It's all lying and bullshit. I'd rather tell people exactly what I want, I'd rather just cut around that." She smiled dreamily. "I mean, have you seen Mom and Daddy? They're adorable. My birth parents too - my father used to sing nonsense songs to my mother for no reason other than he wanted to. I remember us dancing together while father sang." She smiled dreamily, then blinked at what Teja had said. "What's the tune? If I'm dancing, I want to know what I'm dancing to."

Popping the cherry into his mouth and chewing, he shook his head, "Asmodaeus is the Demon of Lust. So many people think that greed and any of the other sins are what rule the world. I don't believe that. I believe firmly that lust is in everything, controls everything. It's lust that inspires procreation. It's lust that inspires jealousy. I've lusted after everything that I've gotten in my life, and I'm lusting after you right now. Have I told you my beliefs yet? You said you were into voodoo. I find that quite intriguing, as I myself am rather into that sort of thing myself. It's not because my mother's husband is a demon Prince, though he does play into it in part." He set the cherries aside, simply to pull Lilo onto his lap so he could continue playing with her hair. It was pretty hair.

Lilo blinked hard and then socked him in the arm, harder than she had the night they'd had coffee. "You couldn't have noticed me three years ago? Jerkface." She stroked his cheek with the fingers of her left hand, knowing her right was still sticky. "I'm sorry that happened. I'd have done the same thing, you know."

Leaning back, she blinked and shook her head. "You haven't told me your beliefs. What are they? It'll be nice to be around someone who doesn't think I'm crazy."

He smirked and retaliated by licking her neck before biting it briskly. "Hit me again and I'll take you right here and now." It wasn't a threat, just a simple observation. He sat back, however, and put his arms back behind his head. "I'm into necromancy." He said it as if it were something normal, like origami or stamp collecting. "I don't summon up things from the dead, if they're dead, they probably have a good reason for it. I mostly spend time employing detached spirits to do things like fuck with people who have fucked with me. You wouldn't believe how pissed off ghosts get when they're displaced from their usual haunts. Oh, they get fucking ornery." He looked up at the ceiling. "Some of your usual black magic shit, most of it to my advantage when I'm preparing for tourney. Most of the time, it's to give them an edge, because I fight dirty. I make them lose their inhibitions."

Her back arched as he bit her, gasping almost against her will. She felt her fingers fisting the back of his shirt, and she debated socking him in the arm again.

But she was curious in regard to what he said, and she leaned back, grinning. "You summon spirits to spar? That's awesome. And kind of hot." She blinked and bit her lip, grinning coyly as she socked him in the arm again.

Teja shook his head, "I possess the other fighters with the spirits. It's fun." At the sock to his arm, he let out a low, growling noise and pulled Lilo down by the back of the neck and into a rough, demanding, claiming kiss. He had warned her, and he wasn't one to break his word. His fingers twisted into her hair briskly and he moved his hips upward and against her with no questions needed to be asked as to why.

He wanted her, and she was there to be had.
