Pulse was... tired, and bouncy, and beginning to think Akima should be a track star. And maybe a discus thrower. As he dodged something she had found to toss playfyly, he caught her finally and swing the toddler sized Akima up and around, making her giggle and swing her arms at him.

"Yay! Zooooooooom! Daddy is fun!"

He facepalmed and hugged her close.

"I love you, dear."

This crazy week had reduced her to toddlerhood, and he was tired, but despite himself, he loved her and was having fun.

	Akima laughed and gave Pulse a big, sticky kiss when they stopped. "Awwww, Daddy's tired. Naptime for Daddy?" She canted her head a little, and patted his nose, smiling. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	She beamed at him and hugged him. "Yay, Lorna! Oh! Can we watch the fishies?" Finding Nemo was the only cartoon movie that Lorna had bought on disk, so she'd brought it over for Akima, thinking it would be a good distraction. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Sure we can." Pulse was willing to watch anything, as long as it kept Akima happy. She was amazing, even as a toddler. He hoped he could be this good and effective with a real kid someday. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She laughed and wiggled out of Pulse's arms, sprinting for the television. It was good to be with her daddy. She'd never met either of her parents, but he was just like her grandmother had said. She popped the movie into the DVD player, and hid under the blanket on the couch, her small face surrounded by the soft pink lap blanket that had swallowed her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He laughed as he watched her, smiling as he followed along and then plopped next to heron the sofa, careful yo not impede her blanketness. "Would you like to control the remote?"
