He was smiling as he relaxed and watched Domino in the pool. As her pregnancy got farther along, the pool had become the only place she could get comfortable, with it's buoyancy helping keep pressure and weight off of her tired body. Cable had expanded and re-equipped the pool with the best he could find, and it now was a place she could spend as much time as possible in. It held several separated sections she could move through, from hot tub to cold pool, to jet jacuzzi to shower. He could not live the pregnancy for her, and he could not make it comfortable when things got bad, but he would do his damnedest to make it as good as possible for her.

Today, well, it was a lazy day, and he was glad to spend time with her. Lorna and Alex were off doing some couple geek thing, and Domino and he were mostly just relaxing and not planning on doing much at all.

In his life, this had not been the case most of the time, and he found himself sometimes utterly at a loss. But somehow, he was slowly finding that he liked just being with her, and the idea of raising kids with her made him grin.
