Jack smiled at the interaction, before heading off and grabbing the saddle off the rack, hauling it over. "'Course- she's got th'best temper'a any th'horses in here. Not to mention she's still waitin' f'her workout today." He was supposed to be taking her out to check on the herd, but he could always take Ennis' horse, if they rode long enough to tire her out.
"Take that blanket there, drape it over her back, right under her whithers- erm, shoulder, if y'would." He waited until she had that done, before hauling the saddle over Sarah's back, leading Chel through the process of securing the saddle and getting her bit in. That done, he moved back and handed the reins over to Chel.
"C'mon, we'll take her t'the ring, get'r goin'." He led Chel over to a gate, opening it and waving her through to a large indoor ring, marked in various places.
