She jumped at the dog briefly, until Jack silenced her and she smiled, extending her hands to let her sniff her fingertips. "She's pretty."

She nodded, trying not to run down the aisle in her excitment, examining every living creature in the stalls to her satisfaction before returning to she place she had started from. "I used to want to get a horse as a kid, Dad always said I'd get sick of taking care of it, but I can't see that happening. I think I would have loved it."
