Who: Lorna and Dean
What: Coffee
Where: A coffee shop in London
Warnings: Sex, and references to Michael Jackson.
When: Evening after Pocky's death

Lorna Pulled her motorcycle into the parking lot, and cut it off with a wave of her hand. Somehow she'd gotten control of her powers, and had been using them as often as possible. She looked around for her companion, hoping he looked like the picture on the internet.

Pulse was going to tease her, she was pretty sure, but she was excited. It was her first real date since she'd gotten there.

Lorna watched Dean, and then laughed softly when he didn't answer. "Are you okay?"

"I'm good. Just regretting the more coffee decision." Dean chuckled a bit and looked at Lorna. She was a lot like him, it seemed.

She laughed. "Then get it to go. You've got cup holders in your car, right?"

Dean shook his head. "It's a '67. Though I might get a cookie." He rubbed his hands together and grinned. It was always time for cookies.

Lorna giggled. "I'll get a small and hold it, then."

No big deal. "Probably going to want the caffeine a couple hours in." There was a wink accompanying her words.

Dean winked and leaned against the counter. "I don't wanna break you, woman." He ordered her a small coffee and himself a chocolate-chip cookie, drumming his fingers on the counter impatiently.

She laughed. "I don't break easy."

That made Dean grin. "Oh, good. Girls who do are boring."

"I really don't think I'll bore you."

She hoped not, anyway. "Beside, I'm just happy to be alive, after everything I've seen. Everything feels and tastes and sounds better."

Even 'playing video games'.

"You haven't yet. I like a woman who'll argue with me, that's for sure." Dean thought about his ex-girlfriend Cassie for a split second before making himself stop. They'd fought. Constantly. Even in bed.

Dean chuckled when he heard her talk about everything tasting and sounding better and remembered how he'd felt after the Reaper had brought him back from near-death. It had felt good then. But after his father sold his soul... not so much then. But hell. Dean didn't want to think about his father just then; that was a sure way to kill any sort of bedroom antics before they'd even begun. So he didn't.

Terrible fathers are yet another thing they have in common!

"Good? I guess? I mean, I hope you're not into the whole 'rough angry sex' thing, because that gets old pretty fast, and I like to limit my vaginal bleeding to as seldom as possible."

Though she's joking, there is a bit of uncertainty in her expression.

Dean wrinkled his nose. "Christ, woman, who the hell you been sleepin' with?" Dean's father might have been single minded and obsessive, but he'd raised Dean right. Dean always gave better than he got - especially in bed.

She shrugged. "It's not like I even know you. I'm just making my desires known."

Well, that was good news.

Dean had pushed half of the cookie into his mouth, crumbs lining his lower lip. "Yeah, but still." He wrinkled his nose. "Just not nice to treat a lady like that."

She chuckled and drank her coffee, wandering toward the door. "And now I know you're not an asshole. At least in bed. So we both win."

Dean walked after her, nodding. "Just doesn't make sense. If you're an asshole in bed, it's not gonna be good, you know?" He shrugged and held the door open for her.

She nodded her thanks. "Some women like that kind of thing. There's someone who likes everything these days."

Just ask Google image search. With brain bleach readily available.

Dean's eyebrows could not have gotten any higher. "Yeah. Some girls are scary. Glad you're not. So. Where're we goin'?"

"My room is a shared dorm. And I don't think my friend would like us fucking on his couch."

Though, knowing Pulse, she couldn't be sure.

Dean nodded. "Well, c'mon. I'll give you a ride back to my place, then I'll bring you back here later to get your bike." He went to his car and opened the door for her.

"Sounds good." She slid into the seat, making sure his door was unlocked. "You're more of a gentleman than I expected."

She liked that. It was a pleasant surprise, for once.

Dean shrugged. "Guess it depends on the definition." He'd always thought of Sam as being more of a gentleman than him, but hell. If this girl thought polite was being gentlemanly, he'd take it.

It didn't take long to get back to the house he shared with Sam. He still sort of boggled. It was huge, and he still blinked when he looked at it.

She'd been too polite to mention the fact that she'd thought he'd be a jerk. "I guess so."

His house made her whistle. "Nice."

Dean grinned when she saw the house. "I know, right? I mean, it's new to me - I've been here before apparently, but I don't freakin' remember any of it - so it's sort of like Christmas." Or at least what he thought Christmas was like. He'd never really celebrated it.

"Nice Christmas. This beats the hell out of socks."

Though her parents love for giving her books was awesome.

"Guess I don't have to worry about you two sharing a room."

Which was a good thing. She needed to find a job, so she could get an apartment.
