She caught Sonya when she was in mid gulp of her water glass. Sonya nodded.
"Ah, I see what you mean now."
"It goes with what I said before, you can't tell if someone's 'good' or 'bad' but you can tell their character, if their trust worthy, if they have something to hide, if they're 'innocent' or have done so many crimes that they become twisted inside. Sometimes I do notice them, practice long enough and you don't even have to really struggle to listen to souls if you just want an idea of someone. Usually it's like being in a room with several crowds talking, you don't pay attention to anyone, but sometimes, there's a person talking not so much loud as you're interested in what they're saying."
She took a plain piece of bread this time to numb her lips.
