Sonya told Ganieda to meet her firstly in the mansion, and waiting, she wondered if she'd seen the disk yet. Tsung himself was fairly impressed and amused with Sonya's performance, and how she was able to break the woman down even more.

There was still the problem with Ganieda. Safe as she was with Merlin, David was still out there and Merlin couldn't keep an eye on her forever. Sonya thought it high time she learn some more serious magic if she was to keep herself safe.

'Pity I couldn't get a hold of David myself,' she thought as she waited outside.

	Ganieda walked up towards the mansion, and waved at Sonya. She had just watched the disc, and it had pained her and disappointed her. Ganieda found that much of her anger had disappeared, leaving only a sort of dull ache where her heart should be. So she does look a little pale and sad when Sonya sees her face. 	Though her face was stern, sonya felt concerned when she saw her. "You saw the disk." She would've had to, the girl deserved answers. Sonya led her up to the front door and inside the great building to the training room. "It's over now. The past can only hurt you if you let it." She knew that from experience all to well. 	"I saw. I'm more disgusted than anything else. And sad." She shrugged. "It won't hurt me anymore. For now, I'm through." She's going to enjoy her true family for a while and heal, and then will deal with anything else that might come up after that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"I don't blame you, it was rather sickening when I visited her."

She brought her to the training room, this time the window curtains were drawn and near the floor mats were two chairs next to a table set with a candle and incense stick inserted into a holder. She turned to look at her to speak frankly.

"What I'm first going to teach you is how to..bring out your animal personification." She pointed to the two chairs. " It requires that you go into a deep trance to try and bring it to form. That's the generalization of it, but it's a different experience for everyone. I'm going to teach this first, because it is the more mentally draining of the two skills."

	She could tell that was what Sonya thought by her expression. And it was rather pathetic. Ganieda nodded as Sonya explained. She didn't mind trance work--she'd done it before, in a few forms. "So...what do I do first?" she asked softly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"I'd prefer you sit down on the mats while this is happening. I'm going to put you in a trance, but after that is the more challenging part. You'll be forced to face the less aspects of your soul that you try to hide, be them deep seated fears or those feels that you've tried to hide for so long."

"After that, it's merely just focusing on the form and letting it appear. Like so." Sonya closed her eyes, focusing, and soon she was covered in green sparks that encompassed her entire form as it shrank. When the sparks faded, instead of a human woman, was a rather large hawk.

The hawk screeched, flapping her wings a moment before the sparks once again surrounded her. The mass grew until Sonya was human again.

She shrugged. "That simple..once the first transformation's done anyway."

	Ganieda watched. The transformation was so smooth, almost seamless. "It looks very smooth, the transformation." She was a little worried about facing up to parts of herself that she'd buried. The truth. She didn't think that she had much to hide, but... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"The first time's always the hardest." She couldn't help but smirk.

Sonya went to the table and lit the candle. Taking it by the holder, she sat down on the mat, motioning for Ganieda to do the same.

"Ganieda," she held the flame directly in front of her face. "I want you to focus on this light, there's nothing in this entire room, save the light and my voice." She spoke softly, but firmly. " I'm going to count slowly from ten and you'll feel yourself sliding deeper into yourself. You'll know when you've found what you're searching for..now, ten, nine..."

	Ganieda settled herself on the mat and obediently focused on the light and concentrated. 8...7... The rest of the room dimmed and darkened and she could no longer see Sonya, though she could hear her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She watched the young woman fall into a trance, quickly letting out the candle and settling Ganieda on the mat. If there was anything in her soul that would scare her, and Sonya would bet her badge there was, she didn't want her to end up hurting herself.

"Ganieda, listen to my voice." She spoke slowly and firmly, as though it was an order. "I want you to search deeper into the fog, you may see things about yourself, things you don't want to know. But remember they're already apart of you..you have to accept them."

	Ganieda looked, and saw. In the fog there were flickers, orange flickers, like fire. She could smell brimstone. "It's very dark," she whispered. Was she in the otherworld? Or in the Christian Hell? She could not tell from her surroundings. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ganieda's eyes were wide open, though they were unfocused and she was still in the trance even as she spoke.

"The darkness is your uncertainty, your fears. Remember though, in the fog will be your soul's animal guide, you must face the fog to let it find you."

Sonya wondered if maybe it was too soon for Ganieda to have learned such an ability. Her soul would've been wounded from the betrayal and maybe not strong enough to bear against such dark aspects.

	She looked around, lost. There was fire, and she'd been burned. Her limbs hurt, there were marks on her wrists and face. It hurt where the sanctified rope had touched her skin and where the holy water had touched her. Ganieda strove to keep her breathing even and to remain calm. Her hands tensed into fists.
