She slid into the chair and sat down, unwrapping the candy bar. Whether it made her feel better or not, she would never turn down chocolate anyway.
"I saw fire," she said softly. "And I could feel the ropes they bound me with and the burn on my face from the holy water. I smelled brimstone, and felt so uneasy. And, then I could see myself, but not myself, it was all my dark nature in my form. I was very frightened."
She ate a bit of chocolate. "And then...I could feel wings, and things just became...clearer, more familiar and home-like. And I saw the raven, and I knew her for my guide."
