It's all right, so was she. She nodded and went into the bathroom, pulling the elastic out of her hair as she did.

She had half a mind to skip school tomorrow. She just didn't want to go with her head humming and worried about what she would come home to. It would be ever so nice to just...spend the day with him, tag along for classes...

She sighed as she folded up her dirty clothing and dressed in the nightdress she'd brought.

She padded back into the main room. "Thank you. I hope you don't mind, but I've been in the same clothes all day."
