Gus couldn't help but chuckle at the first half of that, rubbing a hand over his eyes, glad Shawn was finally worn down enough to just spit it out, and make a crack at him. "Yeah well, believe me, convincing myself you're gay-ish? Hasn't exactly been easy."
He sat on the bottom step at Shawn's feet and looked out over the view himself, taking in a deep breath, hoping to inhale the sea scent but instead met with just plain old air. They weren't close enough to take in that salty air. "I don't think you ca never make it go away, Shawn. I think you're supposed to just ride it out until it doesn't hurt as bad, or something."
