Gus didn't talk, he just listened, he wanted Shawn to get out as much as he felt like he could before there was quiet for a few moments. He wet his lips before talking. "That sucks really bad." He shook his head. "I wont lie, Shawn. I think it's bullshit."
He sighed. "But. . I think that the point is, if you let it get to you like you have, you're just going to be miserable. The point is to make your time with people memorable, make it worthwhile so in the end you can say, 'Hey, they left a few times, they came back just as many but we had some good times.' Rather than 'They kept leaving so I have up, man.'."
