Owen made his way into the coffee shop. It was a nice day out in Cardiff, which was rather rare. The sun was shining and there was no rain or winds coming from the bay, so someone was smiling down on Cardiff. Maybe it was to make up for what was going on in Cardiff.

Owen hated it here. Ianto kept popping in and out and it made him worry. This Ianto seemed to remember him, but like the last Ianto, he didn’t remember them being friends. And that kind of made him upset. He’d grown close to Ianto. It was nice. It was almost like he’d had a best friend, someone to talk to when he needed a bloke. Well that was gone now, wasn’t it.

“Oi, teaboy?” The bell over the door rang as he opened it. He could smell the nice coffee and pastries the minute he walked into the shoppe. “Niiice. Where’s my cuppa?”

	Ianto knew that Owen was going to show up, he had been told as much, but nothing prepared him for how he was greeted. It seemed that there was not the animosity that they had once had. "Hello Owen." he said finally as he stared at the man. "Wasn't aware I was supposed to have one ready for you." Added with a cheeky smile. (Reply to this) (Thread)

"Ianto..." Yes, he called him Ianto, not teaboy for a second time. He shrugged off his leather jacket and draped it over a chair, making himself comfortable in the small coffee cafe. It was nice, homey, and very Ianto to him. Nope, no animosity. He had become friends with the other Ianto, well, this Ianto? Ok that was confusing.

"Well can I have one? The coffee around here is shit compared to yours." He plopped himself in a chair and grinned at him. "How ya doin?"

	He smiled a bit when Owen didn't call him Teaboy. "Fine.." he said. "And you?" He asked Owen of how he was. Ianto had to fight the urge to tell Owen to make his own cup of coffee, as he poured one for him and one for himself. He took the two cups over to where Owen was sitting and sat across from him. Owen smiled. He took the cup and sniffed, before taking a long sip. Of course Ianto remembered just how he liked the coffee. Some things would never change. Love or hate each other, Ianto would always pride himself on his coffee and tea making abilities. And he was damn good at it.

"I'm fine. And why is it so hard to believe I could be married. I'm not a prat." He paused. "Ok... Not much of a prat, er... I'm getting better?"

	Ianto smiled, even laughed at Owen's attempts to defend himself. "Just never figured you for the marrying type." he admitted. Truth was there was a lot Ianto didn't know about Owen, and though he had fallen for Dian, he became even more difficult to deal with when she left, to see him happy was a nice change. Owen laughed. "Well it's good. I'm swimming in the bloody estrogen ocean, but it is good. I have all daughters. Well, till the son. Now I have a son too." He smiled and sipped his coffee.

"I... I really like this Lyssa chick. Never thought I would. Never thought I would marry either. She..." He smiled. "She's odd enough that she gets me. Never thought anyone would."

	"It can't be that bad." Ianto said with a smirk. "I hope to meet them." He said. "It's nice to see you happy.." Ianto had to wonder though what had changed Owen so much that he would finally settle down and have the children he has. "I think you'd like them. There..." His voice trailed off as he thought of Diane. It was hard not to. "There's Rain, and Daniel. Those are mine with Lyssa. And then, of course, we have the kids from future timelines and other universes that have shown up here too. So Kit is here. Kit... Kit was my daughter with Diane, it seems."

He smiled, somewhat awkward almost. "Diane has never shown up here, just Kit. Glad to have Daniel now. So it's not just me and the women." He laughed.

"It... It's hard." He sipped his coffee. "I'm glad Jack made Torchwood again. I tried working in a hospital. After Torchwood, well... it changes you. I just couldn't do it again. Ya know?" He shrugged.

He looked at Ianto, raising an eyebrow. "They love you, the kids. Uncle Ianto. You, well... You used to come over a lot. We even drank and watched footie together."

"I would love to meet them." Ianto said longing to have one place that he would fit. "I believe I met Kit when I first arrived, very much like you." That was a compliment, mostly.

"I know it changes you, not always for the best." Ianto thought of Lisa and the lengths he had gone to to try and save her and the fact that it nearly cost the friends that he had grown to care for their lives.
