She couldn't help but smile. You could always trust Clark to be full of optimism, part of that small-town farmboy trait she loved.
She wasn't sure how to entirely react to his last statement. Everything was changed now between them, different because of Richard, because of Jason, because she knew now who he was, because they were now in a world not their own. But she still showed a pleased, appreciative smile. This meant Clark wanted her around, right?
"You might kill me for this," she said dryly, with a tiny laugh at herself because of the incredulous amount of information she was giving him in one fell swoop, "but there's more." Lois took another couple of steps toward him, and the rest came out in a maybe not so logical string of words. "Do you remember those teenagers you talked to? The first Clark I met here, he was married to a doctor, Lisa Cuddy. They had twins, who disappeared when that Clark did. The twins reappeared a few months later as teenagers -- that happens here too. Those two are Clark's -- and Superman's -- kids, Jon and Mia Kent."
