Who: Faith, Dean and Emily
When: Nowish
Where: Faith's Pimp Palace
Why: Because all Faith wanted was some dinner.
Warnings: crazycave!Emily

Faith had her arms folded over her chest, standing in the main kitchen leaning against the counter. It was just another average day for one of New York's busiest madams. She took the calls, she booked them, she tried her best to keep track of who she owed and who owed her. She even had a leftover slice of pie that Mary had brought over for Emily with a few of the girls. The problem was, she had to eat it with her fingers because somehow... mysteriously every piece of silverware in the house had disappeared.

Things had been getting progressively worse over the last few days and Faith didn't really understand it. She'd seemed fine after the attack happened. In fact, she had been the one telling everyone else to shut up because she was fine. Now, if it had been Solvei or Dean saying that Faith wouldn't have bothered to believe it, but Emily wasn't like the rest of them so she believed her.

It didn't get her very far. All of the silverware was gone along with any pens, bottle openers, anything that had a sharp edge. Some of the girls had complained that she'd broken into their room and stolen razors and other things. Faith didn't know. She didn't understand what was going on. She wanted to believe that it would just work itself out until Solvei wasn't tangled up with her boyfriend and their kid or until Dean stopped being a bitch and came back home.

Unfortunately, it didn't work itself out. She realized that when she went to drag her weapons trunk out of the closet and saw that someone had tried pretty damn hard to pry the lock off of it. Yeah, Emily getting into Faith's good weapons just wasn't something that was going to happen and with a house full of other people, Faith just didn't have the time to dedicate to it. The biggest problem was that she didn't understand it and short of calling the closest Nut House she wasn't sure what else to do. Luckily, Dean was coming to deal with it.

She lit up a cigarette and stared out the window moodily as she waited for Winchester to get his ass over to the house. And people thought she was the crazy one.

Course she was here. Physically. Letting out a breath, he forked around the eggs that were on his plate before picking up his coffee and taking another sip of it. He wondered if he was doing the wrong thing by having her stay with him. But then he figured he'd rather have her stay with him than with Bruce, so he didn't bring it up. Looking over at her, he raised his eyebrow.

"Didn't say anything."

Getting up, he grabbed his plate and ate a few bites off of it before setting it on the counter.

"Gonna go take a shower, you'll be alright?" He asked her and grabbed a pair of jeans and a t shirt from his room.

She nodded at him and watched him leave before turning her full attention back to breakfast. Once breakfast was gone and she'd managed to drink half a cup of coffee, she began hunting around in his kitchen. He had lots of sharp, shiny things in the drawers. All kinds of bottle openers and utensils. Weapons. Tools. Things that should be hidden away and kept for later.

She pulled herself away from the utensils and instead grabbed a role of packing tape. It was yellow instead of black like duct tape but it would do. She pulled a long strip of it free and pressed it to the large bay window in the kitchen. Her fingers worked the air bubbles free as she pressed the tape down in long strips.

Once she was finished taping up that window she went for the living room windows, until they were completely blacked out with tape. After she was done, she brushed her hands off on her pants and curled up on the couch, a magazine (about guns) on her lap. It wasn't her usual preference but she liked guns alright and so she was flipping through it when Dean walked back out.

He glanced at the windows and back down to Emily who was giving him an innocent look.

Walking out of the bathroom, he headed toward the kitchen to get himself a drink and noticed the tape over the windows. He should have known. He was tempted to take off the tape, but instead he just looked over at Emily who was trying to be innocent. She had that look on her face. Giving a half way smile, he licked his top lip and grabbed a beer from the fridge and walked over to the couch. The living room was dim and he was surprised she didn't do the living room windows. The curtains were closed though, so maybe she stopped herself? He didn't know. Either way, he sat down next to her and put his feet up, getting himself comfortable. He wasn't going to work today, which really, it wasn't a big surprise.

"See anything you like?" He asked, noticing she was reading Guns and Ammo Magazine. Faith liked to use her hands, which he noticed that was what usually all Slayers preferred, but Emily liked to use guns and she was damned good.

Reaching over, he grabbed the remote and turned the tv on. He was lucky because whatever dude was living in the apartment before had more than just basic cable. Lots of movies channels.

The magazine was out of her hands and back on the table and Dean reached over and turned off the table lamp.

"Feel like a movie?"

"Lots." She smiled softly over at him when he asked her if there was anything she liked. This was more of a Dean book, the guns were bigger and more for hunting. Emily liked small guns, something that could slip easily into her purse and that didn't weigh a ton or kick back more than she could handle. She set the magazine back on the table just as he suggested a movie.

She smiled and nodded at him as he sat down on the couch next to her and grabbed the clicker turning the television on. "No Wayne's World this time." She asked him because how many times had he made her sit through that movie? She'd thought it was mildly entertaining the first two times. After that? It got a little old.

Finally he settled on Face Off with Nicholas Cage. Emily shrugged. She wasn't much into action films but at least in the end Nicholas Cage gets the boy and it's sweet. She liked the ending. He turned the volume up and put the remote back down on the coffee table.

Emily curled her legs up underneath herself and leaned into him, adjusting only a little bit when he lifted his arm up so she could fold more comfortably into his side.

He switched through a few channels before they finally decided on Face/Off. The movie was about fifteen minutes already in and he settled back on the couch, tossing the remote to the side. He glanced over at Emily as she moved in closer and he shifted, lifting his arm up and over, cradling her next to him. Yeah, the movie kinda sucked in a way because the kid died in the beginning, but he didn't change it. It was a while since he'd seen a Nic Cage film, even though twinkle toes kinda stole the show being the big villain.

"You better pull the trigger, cause I don't give a fuck," he said along with Castor Troy and started playing with Emily's hair. "Man, this dude is crazy." He knew that Emily didn't like these type of movies and it would only be a click away so they could watch The Wedding Singer. He didn't care what anyone said. Adam Sandler was a badass.

"Hey," he nudged her a little and shifted and it wasn't long until her head was in his lap. He held his hands up, looking her over and she was still awake, surprisingly, she was just laying down on him. With a sigh, he leaned back again and his hand rested on her hip while the other hand played with her hair. Things were so complicated and he wanted to tell her so much, but it wasn't the time. Obviously. The girl was just somewhere else. And maybe it wasn't his place anymore.

"Hmm?" She looked up at him for a second as he shifted and adjusted until her head was laying on his thigh. Her hand came up to rest right in front of her face as she watched the television screen. She was already getting a little bit bored but Dean was obviously getting really into the movie so she didn't bother saying anything.

Closing her eyes she leaned back against him and took a deep breath. The couch was about ten times more comfortable than the bathtub and it was easy to fall asleep again.
