Henn was more than a little buzzed thanks to the energy in the house, and she was thankful for that, since she knew what was coming next and knew it wasn't going to be easy, but it was something that needed to be done. It was a conversation that needed to take place, and sooner was always better than later with that kind of thing.
At that particular moment she was stretched out in front of the fire, chin resting on stacked fists, just watching the flames, eyes half closed, not dozing, really, but certainly giving the impression of it. |
