Who: Dean & Jo
What: Chilling?
When: Now
Where: Dean's apartment
Why: Because Dean is pissed off at the world again. Are you really surprised?
Warnings: They're in bed, so yeah.
Dean had to get away. He wasn’t going very far though, he could never go that far, but when Emily told him to leave and not come back? Yeah, he was planning on just that. He’d ask Jo if she wanted to go for a ride, but the ride didn’t last long, at least the ride back to his place. Everything was going crazy again; he thought things would die down after everything that happened with his father, but nope. He should have known better. There were so many thoughts going through this head that he couldn’t even put them into their own little spots. They all bled together.
He wanted to hurt Bruce so fucking bad, but he knew that in the end, it wasn’t his place. ‘Specially since Emily told him to back off. Maybe she was right. They’d been in hell for hundreds of years and he’d always taken to protecting her. He wasn’t there this time though and the guilt weighed heavily on him. Then Emily told him to leave. He didn’t know how to express his feelings when it came to her because it was so complicated. They were friends, best friends and the fact that he was realizing slowly that he’s been in love with her pretty much for a while, nothing in his world made sense. She told him once that the fast way to lose him was to sleep with him. Maybe he took those words with him, pushing them in the back of his mind so he knew he couldn’t fuck anything up. Either way, it was over now. He made up his mind and it was probably for the best.
Laying on his back, he breathed heavily and just looked up at the ceiling of his bedroom. Jo was next to him, laying on her stomach as her arm laid lazily over him. He was so pissed off right now, at himself, and at Emily, Faith, Bruce. Pretty much he was pissed off at everyone. It wasn’t a surprise.
Glancing over in Jo’s direction, he just gave her a look before bringing up his hand, rubbing it over her arm. He hated doing this to her, but then again, she knew what it was. It was always like this. When he was in town, they’d chill. One day chilling led to something completely different. It was always there; he was always curious, but the fact that she was Ellen’s daughter? Yeah, kinda scared him a bit.
Maybe that was kinda the thrill. After all, he was still a guy.
