Who: Donatello and Navi
What: Pizza!
Where: New York
When: This evening
Warnings: Shouldn't have any.

Donatello, although pleased that he was in a library and was able to blend in, still had the second nature of paranoia. He was used to having people outright stare at him if he was in public, and humans were rather cruel and opinionated when a six foot tall turtle walked around in broad daylight. However, people fairly much ignored him, or treated him just like everyone else, now that he was human, himself. It was a strange feeling, but not an unpleasant one. Definitely something that Don needed to get used to.

At the moment, he was at a computer terminal near the entrance of the library, with his bo staff tucked between the straps of his backpack. It gave him the right amount of counterbalance, something he was used to. It was odd, having five fingers and no shell, but he was maintaining. And it seemed that he needed his glasses.

He waited for Navi, who seemed to be a good person to ask about the world, since she herself wasn't human previously, and would have a better perspective of things than a normal human would. That, and for some reason, he just seemed to trust her over any other person for the very same reasons.

"Huh, that's really weird." He took a sip of his drink and thought for a moment. "Perhaps I'm not off about it being surges of paranormal energy -- it only lasts a week at a time... Maybe it's like the aftershocks of an earthquake. I wonder what was so big that it caused that initial surge." He blinked and furrowed his brow, "Or maybe they're like earthquakes themselves, only in a more paranormal sense. I'll definitely have to look into it further." He looked up at her. "Sorry, I'm just highly fascinated by all of this. A world that pulls in people from different realities, turns them human, and then goes through weird bouts of extraordinary behavior such as going back in time or making the people act differently is something I wouldn't have ever considered. If only Master Splinter were here, he might know something about it."

He looked to Navi, "Do things get sucked into the vortex too? Or just people and what's on them at the moment? My staff came with me, but the project I was working on, the chair I was sitting in, and the desk I was at stayed there. I guess what I'm asking is if it only applies to sentient beings."
