It was morning, and Shang Tsung was sipping on his glass of tea. He was picking at his breakfast, and looking at the clock. Sonya was sleeping in later than usual… Must have been her pregnancy? He wasn’t that hungry today, but he wasn’t quite sure what it was.

"I'm not sure if you could learn it in one day," said Shang Tsung. "The best thing for you to do at the moment would be to keep reading. There is a lot more theory, and laws to it than you could imagine. It isn't something you can simply start doing in one day."

Shang Tsung considers this. "Though it is often better to start an a younger age, while your mind is still... adapting more frequently. Do tell me before you try ANYTHING. Magic runs off energy, and you may not have enough prowess to do anything with the slightest complexity just yet."

He looked at her, "We have a television if you get bored of reading, just ask one of the servants if you need anything. You once informed me that the youth here enjoys the television, and I can't imagine you to be any different."

Sonya smiled a little "I actually don't watch a lot of tv. Dad didn't encourage it and we were always on the go, it got tiring trying to keep up with the sitcoms and soap operas."

She looked at shelves. "Ok, so I just have to do some more studying..no big deal." She gave him thumbs up, winking, before getting off the chair and looking for some 'relatively' lighter material.

	Shang Tsung walked over beside her, and pulled one of the thicker volumes off the shelf. "I'd recommend you start with this. Mainly because it is in English." He handed the book to her. "I suppose you're going to be staying here right?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Good," he said quickly. "I'm going downstairs to meditate... perhaps a solution to this problem will come to me."

He left the room, and gave her one final look. She was still beautiful, though he much preferred the Sonya he married... this one wasn't as strong, or intelligent. He just hoped that if he did get her back that she wouldn't remember any of this.

"Come get me if you make any progress," he said.
