"I don't fault me, either," he told her quickly, meeting her eyes. There was a sudden flare of anger in his eyes, but not in his voice. "Everything I have done is righteous. These insects do not deserve to walk on this world."
He took a deep breath and made a conscious effort to push the anger from his eyes. "I'm sorry." He sighed and leaned his head back against the back of his chair. "I have a few unresolved anger issues." None of which clouded his judgment, of course.
