"The cabin's perfect." The glyph moved like it knew exactly where it was going, and it did. That hadn't been very long ago for her at all, and sometimes she'd found her thoughts drifting there during her journeys. To be sure, when she was about to being chased by the Five Beasts of Efreet she'd thought of him, thought of swimming lazily in summer heat. Maybe it was how she'd managed to stay so fleet-footed while running around in the snow.
She watched him as he thought, his body language at once both familiar and strange. "I'd still like to know. It's your life. That means I want to know everything." She was practically on top of him, wanting to be as close as possible, and the glyph seemed to sparkle along with her joy. Sad stories were the past - they had new ones to write in the present.
