It wasn't long until Dean was running through the halls, trying to find Solvei. He had already parked the car and as he ran through, he was yelling for her, not exactly sure where to look until a nurse pointed him in the right direction. Clearly, he wasn't thinking. He was acting. And running on pure adrenaline. Once he was finally pointed in the right direction, he ran on up, not even waiting for the elevator. By the time he got to the room, he leaned against the doorframe, breathing heavily, but he was there.
"You're not?" He asked, exasperated and he leaned over, trying to catch his breath before standing up straight and walking over to where his girlfriend was laying down.
"I think you should have one, I don't think I can see you go through that pain," he explained and squirmed when she grabbed his hand. Wincing while she went through another contraction, he held onto the railing with his other hand and nodded at the doctor with an awkward smile. "Girl's gotta grip, what can I say?"
"You're only four centimeters dilated, so it's going to be a little bit," the doctor explained and looked over the chart before slipping it into the holder that was on the wall.
"Hey, I'm all for gettin' her more dilated," Dean joked, but the doctor just gave him a look. Hey, he'd rather do that than have her have to get back in the car, or wait any longer to have the baby. Once the doctor left the room, he pulled up a chair and sat down next to her, wishing that Sam, Faith and Emily would get there already, but they were on a job.
"Anything I can do?" He asked and rubbed her arm a little before turning it around to see the IV that was stuck in it. He set her arm back down and moved the railing down so he could be a little closer.
"You know you look hot as fuck all sweaty and stressed," he grinned. "Just don't get too stressed, don't wanna upset the baby."
