Ganieda had needed to convince herself to get dressed to go out, and she'd torn through Genevieve's closet, looking for something appropriate to wear.
Finally, near tears, she'd chosen a long, brightly colored cotton skirt and some sort of shirt that covered her arms. The strange garments that were worn under the clothes she'd left on. They were not very comfortable.
The computer had instructed her in the use of running water and she scrubbed her face of the paint and tried to brush her hair, but it contained some strange substance that was difficult to draw a brush through. She'd ended up pulling it back and tying it in a knot.
Finally, she took up a small bag with the identification she'd found and headed out the door. She remembered instructions, counting off the intersecting streets and finding the location of the 'coffee shop' easily.
Whatever 'coffee' was.
She entered the shop warily, looking around for her...well, for Merlin.
