Who: Emily Sorenson, future!Dean Winchester and Faith Lehane
What: Stranger in a Strange Land
When: Now.
Where: New York
Warnings: Naughty language

Emily was dreaming about tornados. The dream was so vivid it was almost as if she could reach out and touch the blue cloud that tossed her about mercilessly in it's wake. It tasted faintly like licorice but the aftertaste wasn't pleasant and that was what woke Emily up out of a deep sleep. Either that or something about a giant killer spoon. She wasn't sure which.

She yawned, stretching her whole body out on the silk sheets lazily. Wait. Silk sheets? Emily popped one eyeball open and stared up at the mirror over the bed. What had she had to drink last night? She couldn't remember, but somehow she knew now she'd ended up in a slut bed. Because only slut beds have mirrors over them.

Sitting up, she looked around the room feeling her heart thump like a jackhammer in her chest. She didn't recognize a thing. Vaguely she wondered if she'd been roofied or kidnapped when she felt someone stir beside her. Her hand flew to her mouth and she stifled a surprised shriek when her companion finally opened his eyes.

She gasped loudly.

"Oh my God, DEAN?!!" She exclaimed, loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear. "What did you do to me?"

All he wanted to do was hold on for one more moment, but suddenly, that moment was taken away from him. Opening his eyes slowly, he groaned inwardly and couldn't help his fingers from scratching at himself as he glanced over to the person next to him. His whole body flinched while he head pulled back, not believing who was laying beside him. 'What the hell was I drinkin' last night?' he thought and sat up quickly.

"ME!?" He asked just as loud before moving over toward the side of the bed and kicking his legs out, missing his footing and falling on the floor altogether. He shot up instantly and glanced down when he felt a cold draft. Making a face, he reached over and grabbed a sheet quickly and covered himself from Emily.

Dean concentrated on Emily for a second, wondering how they got into this position in the first place, but no amount of alcohol could do this. He was sure of that. That and the fact that looking around the room, he had no clue where he was. He did however, notice the mirrors on the ceiling and he nodded.

"Nice."

The moment didn't last long and his attention was back on Emily.

"No, I think the question is you little freak is: what did you do to me?"

If she weren't so pissed, Emily would be laughing when Dean fell face first on the floor before quickly picking himself up again. He wasn't wearing anything and she tilted her head a little bit at him before he covered himself up.

She gasped at him again. How dare he accuse her of having something to do with this. He was the guy, that meant it was his fault. Even though Emily had been friends with Dean for years and never had any reason to believe that he was this kind of guy.

"Me? I didn't do....anything...." Her voice trailed off and she frowned at him.

"Do you think we.....? You know?" Emily looked down at the skimpy outfit she was wearing and cringed. She knew for a fact she didn't own anything that even closely resembled this ensemble.

When Dean noticed the tone in her voice changing, he knew obviously that this had to be some type of mistake. Mistake meaning that neither of them really knew what the hell was going on. Clearing his throat a little, he stood there, well, naked, with a silk sheet wrapped around him. Tilting his head, he took in what Emily was wearing and honestly, he was trying to figure out what it was at all.

Emily would never wear something like that.

In the years that Dean Winchester has known her, he never saw her wear anything so skimpy and trashy. He came to the conclusion that she should do it more often. Of course, not out in public.

Swallowing, he gave her a long look before finally his shoulders sagged a little and he raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah, I don't think so," he said, a little too arrogantly. "You'd remember it, believe me." Rolling his eyes, he glanced around the room and found his jeans. Reaching down, he grabbed them and held onto them with one hand while the other hand held onto the sheet.

"Where the fuck are we?" He asked, pretty much rhetorically because Emily looked just as lost as he was. He would almost feel shitty for how he was talking to her, but right now, he was on the verge of panic.

"Oh, please." She rolled her eyes when Dean suggested that he would be so amazing in bed that no one could ever forget it. Maybe that was true but Emily wasn't given to feeding Dean's ego. It was already inflated enough in her opinion.

She used the opportunity when Dean started to get dressed to look into the mirror. Her face was smeared with way more makeup than she ever wore, even on her sluttiest night. "I'm a total whore!" She exclaimed angrily, and glanced at Dean in the mirror when he looked over at her.

"Don't you even say it." She warned him.

Huffing a little bit she looked around the room for her clothing but only found a black lacey mini skirt and a halter top. She cringed as she picked them up and looked over at Dean. "I think we've been kidnapped. Possibly by aliens." She speculated.

Dean hurried and got dressed while Emily inspected herself in the mirror. Sitting on the bed, he put on his boots and laced them up and glanced over at her with a smirk smeared on his face. Holding his hands up when he stood, Dean shook his head. "Hey you said it, not me, babe."

Walking over toward the window, he curiously opened the blind and peered outside. A busy street. "We're definitely not in the backwoods anymore, Em," he noted and turned, checking out the outfit that she had in her hands, all an inch of it.

"Alien's ain't this kind, but yeah, something's definitely up."

When Emily finally finished getting dressed, he patted his backside, making sure his wallet was there and pulled it out, searching through it, making sure his various alias' were all in tact. He did notice something in his wallet that he'd never seen before. Pulling it out, he studied it for a second before raising his eyebrow and looking over at Emily.

"What kind of fucked up world are we in?" He asked her and walked over, showing her the ID.

Emily pulled the laminated card out of his hand and began reading it over. "What the huh?" She asked him blankly, with a "duh" expression on her face. What did any of this even mean? She instinctively patted over the one very tiny pocket she had in the skirt she was wearing and felt a card in there too.

Pulling it out, she pulled it away quickly and shielded it when Dean tried to look at it. "Back off, buster." She frowned crossly at him as she snuck a peek at it and a frustrated whining sound erupted in her throat.

Huffing she pushed it back into her pocket and gave Dean a serious, seriously angry that is, look. "I am not a whore." She snapped out at him defensively as if he'd just called her that.

Dean grabbed his card back that pretty much read that he was the owner of a bar. Nothing wrong with that, although he didn't look forward to tending bar when there were more important things going on in the world. Like demons and monsters. Small things like that. He'd rather be the guy on the other side getting the drinks made for him, but this gig would do just fine. He still thought it was weird and he wondered where the hell he was, but he knew what hell was like. And this wasn't it.

He was getting more and more curious when Emily pulled out her little card and she wouldn't let him read it. He tried to snatch it, but to no avail. "Oh, come on! What does it say?" He asked, amused, while he watched her as she looked at the card for the second, third and fourth time.

"Oh, man, that can't be pretty."

He waited and finally she looked at him and declared that she wasn't a whore.

Bursting out laughing, he gave her an, 'are you serious?' look and walked over, finally snatching the card out of her tiny hand successfully and looking it over. When the laughter calmed down, he handed her back the card, in his most amused, yet serious voice, he asked, "So how much do I owe you?"

"Shut. Your. Mouth." She said deliberately to him, one hand on her hip and the other one raised with her finger pointed in his direction. She realized that it was nearly impossible to take her seriously in this outfit. She couldn't even take herself seriously. And that made her angry. Again.

"So what do we do now?" She asked him curiously. He always had a plan and then she went along with the plan even though sometimes his plan was stupid. But right now, any plan was better than no plan, which was exactly what Emily had.

"My card says I live here, but yours says you live a few blocks away. Maybe we should go and check out your apartment?" She suggested hopefully.

"Not that I really want to go out in public wearing this." She said, wrinkling her nose in disgust again. "Hold on, maybe I have clothing here." Pulling open the closet I started flipping through garments, frowning at every single one of them.

She found one made completely of latex and her mouth hung open as she felt Dean come up behind her, laughing.

"I hate this world. I want a redo!"

She wanted to know what to do now and as of this moment, Dean was at a loss for words. Scratching the back of his head, he noticed his coat tossed on a bookshelf and grinned. Something nice was going on last night. Walking over to it, he grabbed it up and felt around for his phone. Relieved, he pulled it out, only to be disappointed.

"What the shit is this?" He complained. Muttering something about a dead phone, he shoved it back in his pocket and turned his attention back on Emily who was looking for a new outfit. Grinning, he made his way over, eventually hovering over her as she searched her closet for something decent.

"Yeah, I don't think so. I'm kinda likin' this. For once you're the slut," he grinned as he teased her, which only made her more and more pissed off.

Sighing, he held out his coat. "You wanna wear this until we get to my place. We'll check it out and then figure out where to go from there?"

"Thanks." Emily muttered as she took Dean's coat from him and slipped her arms into it, before wrapping it around herself. The sleeves hung over the edges of her fingers and so she pushed them up towards her elbow. "Alright, let's go."

I lead the way, pushing my way through my bedroom door and out into another hallway. My "room" was bigger than I thought it was but finally we made it to a set of stairs and walked up them into a much larger living room.

"Holy crap." She said as she looked around. "I'm a really good whore." Her voice was neutral but touched with awe as she looked around. It wasn't as if Emily weren't used to the finer things in life. Her abilities give her an advantage over the rest of the world.

"What the....?" A familiar voice stopped both Emily and Dean in their tracks as they turned around to see Faith standing in the hallway.

"Faith!" Emily exclaimed, throwing her arms around her and hugging her tightly. "I'm so glad to see you! Do you have any idea where the hell we are?" Emily whispered fiercely into the Slayer's ear before she let go of her.

"Yeah, you're in my house." Faith replied breezily.

Emily led the way as Dean followed up behind her. When they walked out of Emily's new bedroom, Dean couldn't help but be impressed. It was pretty damn nice. He would be jealous of her new surroundings if he wasn't completely pissed off and not to mentioned 'freaked' that they were in some bizarro land.

"She works hard for the money," Dean breathed out while he looked around. Damn.

He turned his attention back to, well, in front of him and stopped in his tracks when he saw Faith.

"What the fuck, where'd you come from?" He asked while Emily ran, throwing her arms around their friend.

"Your house? You're kiddin' me right? What are you whore mommy or somethin'?" He joked through his disbelief as he walked over.

For the life of her, Faith could not figure out why people thought it was a good idea to hug her lately. First Solvei and now Emily. It was a little more surprising coming from Sol, but Faith still rolled her eyes and patted Emily on the arm until she let go.

"Whore Mommy?" Faith raised an eyebrow up at Dean. "Maybe you should watch your mouth cause if you woke up in my house? That means you need to pay for sex." Which made him way more pathetic than any "whore" in Faith's opinion.

"Faith, what is going on? We just woke up downstairs!" Emily rambled on before leaning in to quietly whisper. "You should see what I'm wearing!"

Faith snickered a little bit, feeling more relieved by the moment that she wasn't the only one who'd been sucked into Alternate Dimension World.

"Alright. So the way I understand it? This is some kinda fucked alternate dimension that we got swept up into. You should have an ID card that will tell you who you are here." Faith explained to the two of them.

"I am not a whore." Emily said, and from the tone of her voice Faith gathered it hadn't been the first time she'd said as much this morning.

"You don't have to be what that card says." Faith told her, sympathetically. "You be whatever you want."

"Dean Winchester doesn't pay for sex," he said seriously in Faith's direction. Besides, he could have just woken up here, didn't mean that he ... right. Well, whatever. The truth was, whatever went down, he didn't remember because it wasn't him. And in no way did he break out the cold hard cash for waking up beside Emily. So all in all, he was still pretty good. Except for the fact that whoever's place he took was a freakin' loser.

"Yeah, and I don't pay for sex," he repeated again when Emily declared that she wasn't a whore, but neither of them seemed to care what came out of his mouth.

Grumbling, he listened to the two of them talk and he raised an eyebrow. So it was a dimension.

"Who cares about the card, how the hell are we breakin' out of this joint?" He asked a little too eagerly and looked in Faith's direction. He knew that if it came down to it, it would be up to him and Faith while Emily just rode in the backseat, as always.

"And two more questions, hot shot," he started. "Where's my brother and where the hell is my baby!?"

"Good, because I'm not." Emily reiterated for Faith, who patiently listened and told her she could be whatever she wanted to be. Emily was comforted, but only for a minute before Dean started making demands about Sam and his car.

"I don't know," Faith told him. "I haven't seen him. I didn't even know about you guys until now. Maybe he'll show up?" She shrugged a little bit. "I'm not really sure we can get out of here. Listen, there's something I have to tell you."

Faith had such a serious look on her face that it shook Emily up a little bit. She wasn't used to serious, coming from Faith.

She walked past Emily and towards Dean, her face still serious.

"Solvei's here." She told him, gently.

Emily felt her eyes grow wider. "Oh my God, Solvei!!!" She exclaimed, putting her hands to her mouth quickly. She felt her heart start to race with joyful expectation. "This is where she went!"

Dean looked like he'd just swallowed his own tongue.

Dean just looked at her. He didn't know if this was some type of joke, but with a look like that, he had to know that Faith wouldn't be joking about something like this. He was taken aback, just watching her for a moment and he saw the excitement on Emily's face about Solvei being here.

"What?" He took a step back and brought his hand to his mouth for a moment. This whole time he thought she skipped out on him. One night she was there and the next morning, she was gone.

She'd been here the whole time.

Nodding a little, he looked back at Faith and brought his hand down. He was ready to leave and find her because, well, he had to see her. This was the woman he was going to marry and have a baby with and it took a while, but he slowly got over the fact that she was gone, but now that she was here ... there was finally a bright side to being in this crazy alternate universe.

"Where is she?" He asked and looked at Faith.

Emily was working up enough excitement for three, but Faith kept her eyes locked on Dean. Just in case he was going to freak out or do something insane. What? This was Dean Winchester. Sometimes Faith wondered if he wasn't a bigger drama queen than even Angel.

"She's been here the whole time." She said, keeping her voice calm as she watched him. "We just got swept up in whatever it was that brought her here." Faith's shoulders dropped as she finally pulled one of the business cards she swiped from the bakery out of her pocket.

"Here," She said, handing the card to Dean. "She lives above this bakery. It's just a few blocks away. Shouldn't take you long."

"Dean, you know what this means." Emily suddenly interjected. "She didn't just leave."

Dean took the card from Faith and looked it over. Taking a deep breath, he raised an eyebrow in Faith's direction. Yeah, he knew what this meant. In a fucked up way, it was easier to think that she just skipped off but the fact that she was taken from him. It made his insides ache. Nodding slowly, he swallowed hard and shook his head. He looked back down at the card.

She was here the whole damn time and there wasn't anything that he could do about it. He couldn't save her, he didn't even know how she was. He didn't want to ask Faith though for some reason, he just wanted to see it for himself.

"Yeah, I'm a ..." He trailed off and nodded toward the door. Five seconds later, he was outside on the busy street, trying to find his way to the one girl that was it for him.
