Kyle had said that he'd pick Sol up in an hour which meant that she didn't have that much time to get ready. The first thing she did was run to her closet since he said that he had made reservations. She'd never been to a place that took reservations before so she had no idea what to wear. In the back of her closet she found a few that might do. She grabbed them all and held them up to her in the mirror. She decided on a sky blue knee-length strapless dress. At least the person who's place she took had a good variety of clothes. Because most of the clothes she would've never have bought for herself. She found a pair of strappy heels that matched it.

After she set out all of her clothes she jumped into the shower. Once she was done with that she only had a half hour. She took ten minutes to dry her hair part way. Just enough so it wouldn't be dripping anymore onto the dress. Deciding not to put it up she let it just fall in waves down her back. Quickly, she put on some make-up. She wasn't really a make-up person but she put on just a bit of eye make-up to make them more defined and some lip gloss.

After putting on her dress and her shoes she went into her living room to wait for Kyle. She only had a few minutes until he said he would be there. It was strange that she felt a little nervous about this. Considering that it was the first time she was going on an actual date she didn't feel that weird about feeling nervous. It was an excited kind of nervous because Kyle had made plans for them to go out.

A date. A real date. Something that Kyle hadn't gone on in longer than he cared to remember. The time didn't much that much of a different, it wasn't the reason that his heart was pounding, or the reason why his mouth was dry. No, that was reserved specifically for Solvei. Knowing that she was going to be the one with him? That everyone would see what a beautiful woman that he had somehow been lucky enough to get? That was the cause of all his feelings. Nervous? Yes. Excted? Absolutely.

After they had agreed on when he was to pick Sol up, he'd immediately dropped everything that he was doing and started to get ready. A quick shower, the water nice and hot, he took his time to make sure that he cleaned up to the very best of his ability. The clothes that he selected were what someone might expect. A very nice white dress shirt, buttoned all the way, save for the top button. A pair of black pants and shoes.

It wasn't difficult to fix his hair, considering that he ept it cut fairly short. Just a small amount of hair gel and everything was okay. He also splashed on some cologne. Not too much, he didn't want it to be overbearing, just enough that it would be a pleasant smell. He glanced at himself in the mirror to make sure everything was okay. Once satisfied, he grabbed his watch and slipped it on, checking to make sure he had plenty of time.

He practically ran down the steps outside of his apartment and out to his parking space. Jumping into his car, he started the engine up, and then off he went to pick her up. He was already chewing a piece of gum, as he had ever intention of kissing her later, and wanted to make sure she'd find it to her liking. When he arrived, he sat in the car for a minute, gaining his composure.

Kyle flew up to her balcony and landed with a soft sound. "Sol?" He called out gently, knowing that she would come to meet him.

Solvei had just sat down on the couch in her living room when she heard Kyle call her name. She stood up and smoothed out her dress and walked to her balcony to meet him. When she first saw him she smiled. He looked very nice in more dressy clothes. "You look nice. You didn't dress up for me, did you?" She smirked a little and stepped forward putting her hands on his chest and leaned up to kiss him softly on the lips.

Stepping back she took his hand. "Are you gonna tell me where we're going or am I just going to have to wait until we get there?" Sol really had no idea. She kinda liked having it be a surprise because hardly everything surprised her any more.
