She chuckled at his statement, nodding agreement. Once he moved away to go to the woodshed, she stood, wincing and stretching a bit herself to go fetch another beer. She took the bottles they'd already drank into the kitchen to throw away before bringing out the other two, slightly amused at the faint waddle to her walk. She'd only just arranged herself by the fireplace when he came back in with the firewood.
She briefly debated helping him with the logs, but erred on the side of her still being sore. She laid down flat on her back, waiting for him to move away from the fireplace before waving her left hand, setting the logs to smoldering. After a few moments they ignited, and she smiled. "I can barely walk, you know. I hope you're happy." She was grinning as she said it, hoping he knew she was teasing.
