The kiss was a calm, sweet thing, and it still surprised her that Skwisgaar would aim it at her. She wrapped her arms around his neck as her mouth opened to deepen the kiss. He reminded her of a particularly lovely horse that everyone had tried to tame and only one had succeeded. She was simply thrilled that he'd keep her along for the ride. She'd stay as long as he wanted her to. Slowly but surely she was getting addicted to the way he made her heart beat faster, the way he filledher stomach with butterflies.
When their foreheads met, she licked her lips, not wanting to be rid of his taste yet, and smirked. "Better be."
