They walked out the door together and headed to the counter. Both of the dogs were pretty well behaved. They were almost acting like they knew that they were going home. The lady at the counter was giving them both a cross look when they came out with the dogs. "How'd they get out of their cages?" Bobby just shrugged and said, "They must've come unlatched somehow." He paid the lady and he was glad to get out of there.
He hadn't thought to bring a leash but Mira had Ebon and Butch seemed happy to just trit trot along side them. Bobby still walked next to him in between the road and the shelter just in case he got the idea to run.
