While she might be telling him to do what many would call the right thing, the choice that a hero should make, it wasn't something that Kyle could accept, not at the moment. Too often in his life had the people he cared about the most been taken away from him. Not this time around. While he wasn't turning his back on the people of New York City he was merely embracing the person he cared the most about in this universe. Solvei was going to get all of his attention and focus until her vitals were stable.
It didn't matter what it required of him, if it meant that he had to sacrifice his powers as Ion, or if he had to go to the very depths of space. That was how determined he was in this endeavor and how much the woman in his arms truly meant to him. The first step would be to get them onto the sentient planet Mogo and into shelter. From there he would try to stop the strange markings that were covering her body.
"We're almost there." The words were all but whispered to her. "Hang on for me." They were now entering the atmosphere and making their way towards Mogo's surface. The landing was gentle, he'd done it so many times before it was second nature, and he was taking extra precaution considering her state. "You'll be okay here." Kyle was still cradling her in his arms. Mogo had his own kind of defenses. Nothing could bother them here. They were light years away from Earth.
