Who: Kyle and Solvei
What: Trying to save her
When: Backdated to Monday
Where: New York City, then the sentient planet Mogo
Warnings: TBD

Kyle. The cry for help echoed over and over in his mind, dulling out the other noises in the world, her voice the only thing audible. It was dire. Urgent. Solvei needed him, immediately, there was no time to waste. Everything else could wait. Already his thoughts had went to the worst places. Why? Why did it always happen? Even with all of this power, the people that he cared for the most were the ones that suffered. It followed him even to this place. But it didn't have to be this way. He could fix this...he had to. There were no other options. Not this time around.

The power of Ion was flowing through his body, fueled by the central power battery and the starheart, a combination that made him something more. Green light, something that would have been invisible to anyone else, stretched out across the terrain and buildings of the city. When it came back to the source, it carried with it information, and more importantly, a location. Her location. It was all that Kyle needed and not another second was wasted. Underneath him the concrete jungle of New York City was nothing but a blur, body soaring through the air, propelled by the power within himself. There were two thoughts on his mind in that moment. The first being Solvei's safety, to ensure it, make sure that she was okay. The second? It was centered on making whoever dared to hurt her pay.

Closer and closer he was brought towards his destination, until the landscape started to look familiar, an area that was normally very populated. Times Square. Feet touched the ground, eyes scanning, looking for something in specific. Someone. There. Emerald energy surrounded his body, like an iridescent shield, feet carrying him forward, finally breaking into a run. Once he had reached Solvei, he dropped down to his knees, head tilting to look into her eyes. "I'm here...it's going to be all right, okay? I'm here." Looking at her in a different capacity than a normal person could, he saw inside of her the faint spark of life, and he refused to let it go. Kyle took her hand into his own, but it was much more than a comforting action, soon she was covered with the same emerald energy.

"Hang on, Solvei, hang on for me...please." Kyle, as Ion, was going to push himself to the limits. Test the power that seemed limitless. He was going to do it all for her. He knew that he could sustain her vitals, something inside of him just..knew. But he had to get her away from here. Somewhere else...and he knew where.

Solvei was on the brink of death and she was delusional. Not to mention, she was in the worst pain of her life. The blue markings on her body were intricate designs of snakes and holly, and they were spreading at an alarming rate. After Reika had thrown her to the side she was laying on the ground unable to move.

Flashes of every single bad memory she had was ripping through her brain. It seemed like hours, maybe even days since she had called for Kyle. In all reality, it had only been maybe minutes. She felt someone or something grab her hand and she screamed. "Don't touch... hurts..."

Opening her eyes took everything out of her and they barely made it to slits. When she saw him, she figured that some divine force was just taking pity on her by letting her have one last look at her man. "Never told you... love you." With that she passed out, at least her consciousness did.

Her subconscious was very active and she was probably speaking out loud even. Uncle Rob, please let me out. I won't forget again. Please! Don't! Water? Please just give me some water? If I miss school again my teacher is gonna be mad. In her head this was all taking place. She was being locked underneath her uncle's house in the dark and in a very small space.

There was a tiny part of her that was fighting it but it was slowly fading. She felt something come over her and her heart that had been slowly stopping to beat started up again at a little faster pace. Her breathing was still shallow but not so ragged.

There was chaos everywhere, whatever was effecting Solvei, she wasn't the only person. Time Square was in a panic. There was a large threat to the city, maybe much more than that, anyone could see it. A sense of duty should be calling Kyle to stay there. To fight off whatever this was and secure the safety of all the inhabitants. Whatever hero protocol that existed in the world would dictate that he pull the needs of the many over the needs of the one. It didn't matter. He couldn't accept anything happening to the one person he truly cared about in this place. Not again. Not ever...after everything that had happened.

"Shh, I know it hurts, I'll help you." It was clear to Kyle that she was barely conscious and quickly fading. Even more than that, she was in intense pain. While his healing abilities were very limited he knew there was something that he could do. Concentrating his energy and power on her, an emerald light spread over her entire body, and while he couldn't lessen the mental pain, or remove what was ailing her, he could take some of the pain away.

The eyes that had barely been open were now shut and he tried to maintain his composure. "I love you too." Was he saying the words only to himself at this point? Maybe. But he wished and hoped that she would be able to hear him. Scooping up her small form in his arms, he glanced around, the people would need him. This had to be taken care of first. In a green blur they took off into the air, him holding her close, propelling them into the sky and even higher. Until they had completely left Earth and were in the vastness of space. The cold and never ending expanse.

Determination had set in. He knew he had to save her. Failure wasn't an option, it never had been. There was one place that could heal both the mind and body. Kyle might have no right to ask the favor but he was still going to. They were traveling somewhere out of their galaxy. Towards the sentient planet Mogo.

Solvei's body shifted in Kyle's arms uncontrollably. She wasn't aware of her surroundings at all. The further that they flew up though the better her body was responding to being away from Reika. Even her subconscious was slowly clearing away some of the hurt. It wasn't close to being gone because the tattoos were still there, they just had stopped spreading for the moment.

"Kyle... I'm sorry..." She said it out loud. Solvei still felt like she was going to die. In all reality, if something major didn't happen, she probably would. She was apologizing because she didn't want to leave him alone. They pretty much had one another and their causes and that was it. Sol knew how lonely living with only the cause in your life could be.

They had gone farther still and she was able to open her eyes. All she could focus on was that she was in someone's arms and they felt familiar. Her eyes cleared a little more and she saw his face. Hand twitching to reach up and touch him she wasn't able to. "You came for me." Her eyes closed again and her lips formed a small smile. She was trying to let her slayer body do it's magic and heal her. There was something else that was helping her and she wasn't sure of what it was just yet. She figured that it had something to do with Kyle.

The destination was clear in his mind. The planet was an image burned into his memory. The coordinates were created through the Ion powers, all the calculations done, the jump made as they journeyed through a place that few others had ever seen. Even while all of this was happening, he was aware of her small form shifting in his arms, shaking from what he knew must be both the mental and physical pain that had been shown so clearly on her face. If he could absorb it within himself, take it away from her, he would have. Instead he was pursuing the best option that was available. The best chance at saving her.

"Don't apologize..you're not leaving me." The person that so many had called a hero before was trying to keep his voice steady, to not let her in on how scared he really was, though he wasn't sure his words would register. The warmth that was coming from her body was more than it should be, her skin had been hot to the touch, which made him rocket towards the planet Mogo in record time. It was all that he knew. It didn't matter what it was going to take. What sacrifices. She wasn't going to die. She just...she couldn't.

Those beautiful blue eyes looked up at him, clarity appearing if only for a second, and she spoke. "I'll always come for you." This time his voice broke slightly but he tried to pull himself back together. "Always." It was a promise, one that he hoped she was able to hear, that she would believe.

The sentient planet Mogo was within range of his vision. The emblem of the Green Lantern was clear, as was the lush forests and large expanse of water. He only hoped that it would grant him enough time to figure out a cure for whatever was ailing her.

"Help them, not me." Solvei told Kyle in response to him saying that she wasn't going to leave him. She knew that she was a goner but there were still people that could be helped and could be saved. They were the ones that really mattered and that's why she had apologized for what she felt was inevitable.

Also, she heard what he said about always coming for her. She believed him but she also thought that there was not going to be another time. With whatever Reika did to her she didn't think that there would be any coming back. Even though she was burning up she was feeling some what more coherent the closer they got to wherever he was taking her.

Even though with as hot as she was she started to convulse. She felt freezing. "Cold." Her insides felt as though they were liquifying inside of her but she felt cold. "Trying to fight..." She was trying her hardest, really she was, for him.

While she might be telling him to do what many would call the right thing, the choice that a hero should make, it wasn't something that Kyle could accept, not at the moment. Too often in his life had the people he cared about the most been taken away from him. Not this time around. While he wasn't turning his back on the people of New York City he was merely embracing the person he cared the most about in this universe. Solvei was going to get all of his attention and focus until her vitals were stable.

It didn't matter what it required of him, if it meant that he had to sacrifice his powers as Ion, or if he had to go to the very depths of space. That was how determined he was in this endeavor and how much the woman in his arms truly meant to him. The first step would be to get them onto the sentient planet Mogo and into shelter. From there he would try to stop the strange markings that were covering her body.

"We're almost there." The words were all but whispered to her. "Hang on for me." They were now entering the atmosphere and making their way towards Mogo's surface. The landing was gentle, he'd done it so many times before it was second nature, and he was taking extra precaution considering her state. "You'll be okay here." Kyle was still cradling her in his arms. Mogo had his own kind of defenses. Nothing could bother them here. They were light years away from Earth.

The tattoos had stopped spreading now. Her face was the only thing that was not covered in blue markings. The further that they got the less likelihood they would spread any further. That was definitely a good thing for Solvei. If it weren't for her being so far away she'd most likely be dead by now.

Solvei's mind and body were resting now. She was in a very deep sleep and she couldn't wake up yet. She was aware that she was safe and that Kyle was taking her somewhere but that was it. Knowledge of that was also keeping her hanging on. Most people would have given into the pain and given up shortly after being infected. But Solvei's will to persevere was strong. She wanted to live for Kyle and to not give up her fight.

When Kyle landed Sol barely felt it but she whimpered a little in her sleep. It would take time but she would heal. As long as she wasn't near Reika again the tattoos would not spread.

The familiar sight of Mogo should have been something of comfort, but his mind was far from ease, considering the delicate figure that he carried in his arms. Legs sprung forward as he made his way through the jungle terrain, trying to be gentle with her and get to shelter at the same time. It was a small cabin, nothing extravagant, somehow fitting of it's settings. He pushed the door open and moved straight for the bedroom. The covers on the bed were peeled back and Solvei was put down gently underneath them. He hoped that this place would be able to help her the same it had many others.

The temperature was already changing, the oppressive heat disappearing, the humidity levels dropping drastically, Mogo was adjusting himself to be as comfortable as possible for his guests. Kyle had pulled up a chair next to the bed, his hand was holding Sol's small one, and his eyes were closed. He was in complete concentration, emerald energy surrounding both of them as he focused on keeping her vitals strong and fighting off the poison in her body.

He didn't know how long he sat there, he wasn't trying to keep track of time, he was simply doing all that he could to bring her back. He didn't want to lose her. He couldn't. Right then she was the most important thing in his lie and he'd take whatever punishment that might be dealt out to him later.

Several hours passed before Solvei started to wake up. The pain was all gone for the most part except for her wrist where Reika had grabbed her. That was the only spot on her body that still had the blue tattoo on it. She was still on the verge of sleep as she was fighting to get her eyes open.

Feeling a hand in her own she squeezed it and her eyelids flutter open. She was in some sort of cabin. Moving her head to the side she saw Kyle was there beside her with his eyes closed. She wasn't sure where they were but she didn't want to wake him up if he was sleeping. Her throat was really dry but she swallowed and whispered, "Kyle?"

Sol's mind was fuzzy. She was not sure what had happened past failing to stop what she thought was an extremely bad ass poltergeist. She should have known not to try and attack it with what she tried to attack it with. But she had seen Henry's message and saw on the news what had happened. She went in as quickly as she could to stop whatever harm was being done to the people.

Rolling over she looked up at Kyle and he had his eyes open now. She licked her dry lips and said with a small smile, "Good to see you."

While only hours had passed, to Kyle it felt as if days had flown by, perhaps even weeks. The concentration he held was near perfect, a steady flow of his powers being spread throughout Solvei's body, doing everything and anything to maintain her health. Almost as if he ad created some form of life support. The fever that had threatened to take her away from him was under control now and that had been his main goal. Anything and everything to ensure that she would see the next morning. That they would be able to go back home together.

So deep was his focus that even when she squeezed his hand, eyes remained shut, lips pressed together tightly. It wasn't until she spoke that Sol was able to break through to him. His expression immediately changed, softening a little, and his eyes opened. He moved in closer to the bed. He wanted to grab her, wrap her up in his arms, promise to never let her go. He wanted to, but he was afraid of hurting her, her body was probably still feeling a little weak.

"I'm here...never left." A small smile graced his lips, if only because he felt thankful to be talking to her at all. If he lost her...he couldn't even think about that right now. It'd be too much. He lifted up her hand, the one that he'd been holding, and kissed it softly. "Great to see you too." He was still trying to keep his composure, not let his voice break too much, but it was difficult.

"Does..it hurt? I did everything I could...anything you need, just tell me I'll make it happen. I promise."

Of course he had never left her Sol thought to herself. Because she knew that if their roles were reversed, she wouldn't leave his side. Not even for a second. Her thoughts went to how close she had come to probably dying and she stopped herself right there. She hadn't died and she knew that he was responsible for that somehow. Her brow furrowed in question, "Where are we?"

Thinking of how hard it must've been for him to see her in such pain she pressed her eyes closed for a second before opening them again. Looking into his eyes, everything she felt was in her eyes. Right now she couldn't say them. It would take too much time anyway for her to explain herself. Plus, she was feeling pretty embarrassed for how quickly the ghost had taken her out. She should've known better.

Squeezing his hand it felt so good to feel. She was weak and her wrist hurt but she was alive. None of that mattered right now to her. She just needed reassurance. "I need you to kiss me first so I know that this is real. After that, water please."

"Mogo." The answer was spoken softly, he hadn't looked away from her, didn't dare. As if she were only a figment of his imagination and could disappear if for one second she wasn't in his sight. "It's a safe haven. Everything will be okay." A slight pause as all of his thoughts collected. There was too much explain at the moment to do justice to the question she had asked. "We're..pretty far from home." A completely different galaxy, light years away from Earth and anything else she had ever known.

Looking into her eyes was overwhelming. All of the raw emotion was there. The intensity. Pain, worry, love, affection, plus a full spectrum of other things were to be found simply by looking into those beautiful blue orbs. An act that Kyle would never take for granted again. Not after everything they had been through. The feeling of being drained had almost completely left him just from gazing into her eyes. She mended him in ways she couldn't possibly imagine.

Using his free hand blond strands of hair were gently tucked behind her ears. He then leaned in and softly pressed their lips together. The kiss may have been gentle, but it still conveyed more than words ever could, the relief of her being alive was poured into it, a long with the fear of almost losing her. It felt like forever before he pulled away, even then, he was still reluctant to completely let go of her. "Water..I can handle that." He forced himself to get out of the chair and fill a glass with cold water for her before returning to Solvei's side.

"Oh." Solvei replied to him telling her Mogo. She didn't question him further, but just waited for him to explain. When he said pretty far from home she wondered. She knew that she wasn't the best at geography but Mogo definitely didn't sound like a small country that she'd never heard of. With his capabilities she assumed that they were far far away. Maybe in the next galaxy over or something like that.

Really and truly, Sol was wondering when he was going to start getting mad. In her past usually when she'd done something stupid like she had done she'd definitely be getting a lecture from Xander or someone. Running in all willy nilly without knowing what was really going on. She felt bad that because of what she did he wasn't able to save anyone either. "Are you mad? 'Cause if you are, I totally get it."

He kissed her and she knew she wasn't dreaming anymore because that burst of feeling hit her as soon as his lips touched hers. When he came back with water she tried to sit up and had to grab his free hand. She hated how weak she was and hoped that it wasn't going to last very long. "Thank you." She told him as he handed her the water but she still held on to his hand, like a life line, since that what he really had been to her.

"Now, sit with me. Even though I'm an invalid you don't have to sit in the chair." Really she wanted the comfort of him next to her. The only thing that hurt hurt was her wrist still and she just wanted him close. She took a few sips of her water. Water had never tasted so good to her as it did in that moment.

Admittedly Kyle didn't want to overload her with information, not after everything that they had just endured, especially when she might not be feeling her best. "Mogo..is a planet far away from our solar system. From our galaxy." That was the shortest explanation. Telling her that it was a living planet was too much at the moment. He only wanted to concentrate on what he could do to help. To make her more comfortable.

Maybe he should have been angry, yelled at her for rushing head first into a situation without telling him first, pointed out all the things that she had done wrong. But he couldn't. In her position, he would have done the same thing, and he was too thankful she was conscious to be angry. "No..I'm not mad at you..not at all."

Kyle held her hand within his own, not wanting to let go, something they both shared at the moment. After she had taken a drink from the glass of water he set it down on a small table near the bed. She didn't need to thank him, he would do anything for her, and he knew that it was mutual. If he had been the one attacked he knew in his heart Solvei would have never stopped fighting for him.

Nodding his head at her offer to sit down next to her, he did more than that. He climbed onto the bed and put one arm around Sol. He just wanted to stay like that and hold her forever if he could. "I'm sorry...I should have go there sooner..I should have."

Taken aback by him saying that he wasn't mad at her she practically did a double take. That was a first. But she knew that Kyle was different from the other people that she had known. She felt so very lucky that she hadn't lost him in all of this. It had gotten very close.

Solvei shifted her body once he had sat down in the bed next to her so she was curled up against his side. His arm was around her and her ear was above his heart and she could hear his heart beat. Nothing was more comforting to her then to be this close to him. There was no where in the world that she'd rather be now, or any time really.

When he started to apologize she reached up and put a finger to his lips. "No, you came for me and I'm alive. That's all that matters. I should've called you first but I saw the news and heard from Henry that help was needed and I just went. There's nothing you could've done."

Kyle understood her logic, why she had gone rushing off, what led up to them being where they were. Sometimes he had to turn ignore the news and try to cut off the rest of the world just to get a few hours of sleep. When you had the ability to help there came a very heavy responsibility. You felt like you should be out there all the time, saving the lives of the innocent, protecting anyone that you could. When you saw a fire raging on your television set, you didn't just sit there and wish for the best, you did whatever you could to stop it. That was how Solvei must have felt when she heard from Henry. He understood. He would have done the same.

Nodding slightly when she tried to tell him there was nothing he could have done, Kyle still felt guilty, but she was right, it didn't matter right then. Only that they were together. That she was there with him, alive, conscious. Softly he kissed the top of her head, arms staying around her small body, afraid that if he let her go she just might disappear. That maybe it all was a dream. The mind functioned in strange ways when presented with grief. No...she was really there.

"I would stay like this with you forever if I could." His voice was still soft, the words meant only for her, not another soul in the universe.

Leaning up a little she kissed his chin before resting her head against his chest again. "I wish we could too." She did not want him to be hurting anymore because of her. Knowing what she did about his past broke her heart for what she had just put him through. So, she did what she could to lift his spirits even if it was for just a second. "We might have to pee after a while though." She raised herself up so she could look at him and she smiled at him.

When she laid back down though she made the mistake of getting her wrist caught in between their bodies. Almost crying out she was able to stifle it so he wouldn't worry. It sounded like a sharp intake of breath.

Deciding that she didn't want to sleep at all but she knew that she couldn't really do much she said, "You know? We could totally take advantage of this time. Since I can't really do much more than talk and lounge against you we could take turns asking each other questions. There's so much about you that I don't know yet. And, I kinda wanna know everything." It was more than kinda. She did want to know everything. "Unless you have something you need to do?" Solvei wouldn't be upset if he decided that he needed to go check on things back at home. She knew that she was going to be okay and she didn't want him to go but if he felt like he had to she would understand.

Kyle moved one hand up from where it had been resting on the bed until his fingers were sliding through her blond locks. Having Solvei this close, being able to hear the sound of her steady breathing, it was more comforting than anything else could have been. "The thought had occurred to me. I'm not a fan of the catheter." Seeing her smile did wonders for his spirit. Healed any wounds that he may have suffered that day. All with one beautiful smile.

Kissing the top of her head softly when she breathed in sharply, he made sure to be gentle with Sol, not wanting to put her in any kind of pain. "It's okay..I'm going to make sure you get better." Even though she had done her best to disguise it, he could still tell that her wrist was hurting her, just from the way she had moved.

"I don't have anything else to do. Just wanna be right here with you." The world was still going to be broken tomorrow. Kyle wasn't going to leave her side, not right now, and he didn't care if there was any punishment for his actions. He'd take them without hesitation. "And I'm all or the questions. I still wanna know a lot more about you."

Wrinkling her nose she agreed with him. "Yeah, I've never had to experience a catheter but I don't think that's something that I'd like very much." She knew he was joking so she was still smiling when she replied to him.

How had he noticed that she smushed her wrist? "Please don't worry. I'll be fine. For the record though... I hate being like this." She figured that she was being Ms. States the Obvious, because no one really liked to be sick but she felt bad about the whole situation. About him having to worry. She'd just never had anyone that cared as much as Kyle did. Even though it was in no means a bad thing. It was just something that she wasn't used to.

"Good, because I don't want you anywhere else. As selfish as that sounds." Taking one of his hands with her good hand she interlaced their fingers and squeezed a little. "Good. Then I'll start." She smiled up at him and she couldn't believe that she didn't know this. "How old are you?"

Kyle, admittedly, didn't know that it was specifically her wrist that was injured. The sharp in take of breath combined with the wounds he knew Solvei had suffered was enough to let him know she had done something to aggravate her injuries. Mainly he just wanted to comfort her. Let her know that he was there to take care of her, make sure she had everything she needed. "I'll try." He said in response to her wanting him not to worry. "You'll get better soon..I'm going to make sure of it."

He didn't care about what sounded selfish right now and what didn't. All he could focus on was her. Everything else in the world could wait. "I'm twenty six." It was something that had escaped his mind to share with her before. He'd been caught up in their whirlwind relationship. "What about you?" He figured he was probably a couple of years older, which really didn't bother him.

He smiled a little when she interlaced their fingers, as simple as it might seem, there was something comforting about holding her hand. He also didn't want her to be the only one asking questions. "Have you ever had a pet?"

Solvei knew that Kyle wasn't just trying to make her feel better. He was actually going to take care of her until she was better. It was something that she'd never experienced before. Yeah, she'd been hurt before and Xander had been there for her and even Dean had to some extent. But she had never felt before that she was the center of attention before. Honestly, she probably would've never excepted it before. She would've felt weak. With Kyle though, she wasn't afraid to show that part of her.

Raising her bad wrist up where the tattoo was still quite vibrant where Reika had grabbed her she said, "Don't really think that I'm the blue snake type. I hope it goes away. Otherwise I'm gonna have to develop a fondness for cheesy 80s wristbands."

Solvei would've figured that he was around that age. Since she was the type that always was accused of being younger than she was she tried never to try and guess people's ages. "Twenty three. My birthday's coming up though. When's your birthday?"

The pet question. Hopefully he wouldn't find her answer pathetic. "Sadly, no. I've always wanted one. I used to beg my Dad for one until he died. Then, well, I lived with my uncle. Then I was moving around the world so I couldn't really keep one. I've always wanted a pet though. Have you?"

Solvei was trying to think of another question and there were just so many that she could ask. She wasn't sure where to start. So she picked the first thing that popped into her head since her stomach was growling. "What's your favorite breakfast food?"

Kyle looked at her wrist for a second, the blue snake tattoo was still there, something he knew he needed to find a way to get rid of. "I dunno, you could always complete the look and go all out 80s. They could be making a comeback." Mostly he was just teasing her though that didn't mean he wasn't taking the tattoo seriously. They'd figure something out though, he knew that they would.

He'd figure she wasn't even that old, mainly because she didn't look it, but he wasn't going to say anything because he was pretty sure that she got that all the time. "Your birthday is coming up? What do you wanna do for it?" He hadn't even thought to ask about her birthday before. He definitely wanted to make it a memorable one for her. "Mine is in September."

It was good getting to learn things about Solvei this way. They had plenty of time while she recovered and it'd only make them closer. "I use to have a dog when I was a kid." He tilted his head to look at her and smiled a little. "Sounds like we'll have to get you one."

He smirked to himself at her question, he was going to have to get them food soon, but he wanted to lay there a little while longer with her. "French toast with strawberry and cool whip on top. And two eggs to go with it."

Moving his hand back into her hair he sighed slightly. "What's your ideal vacation?"

"Think they've already made a comeback. For a little while I was contemplating dying my roots black and getting a black lace bustier and skirt to match. Y'know, do the whole cheesy Madonna look? But, that lace can get kinda itchy." Really she liked this distraction. Otherwise she'd be worrying to much about what was happening back in New York. It was still in the back of her mind though.

"I've never really done anything for my birthday." She shrugged and said, "It's just another day. So don't worry 'bout it. We could spend some time together. That'd always be good." That wasn't to say that she wasn't going to plan something fun for him. "September what?"

She could totally picture Kyle as a little kid with a dog right now. Even though she wasn't sure what he looked like as a little boy. She could still picture a dog of some kind following him around. "I love dogs."

Solvei groaned at what he said was his favorite breakfast foods. That sounded really good. "I love breakfast. If I could eat breakfast food for every meal I probably would. I'm not saying that I don't love other food too... just breakfast mmm."

Ideal vacation? She'd been to many places in the world but none of them were really for vacationing. "Don't think I've ever really been on one honestly. But, if I did go on one... it'd be with you. And we would do something simple like going camping in some beautiful national park. Or something tropical and beachy where we could roll around in the sand together." She smiled at the thought.

Her smile turned mischievous at the thought of her next question for him. "Favorite sexual position?"

"Don't forget the go-go boots. You gotta have those. And I'll leave let you dance on the hood of my car. I'm awesome like that." He flashed her a bright smile and got himself settled back on the bed again. Really out here there weren't any other kinds of distractions or interruptions. What was happening at New York still crossed his mind but he did his best to ignore it.

"We're doing something for your birthday. Even if it's just spending the day together." It made him sad to think that she'd never really celebrated her birthday. His mom had always made a spectacle of his own. "The 13th." He hadn't been thinking much about his birthday but it did make it better knowing they'd be together.

"She was awesome. My mom got her when I was six...she was a mutt but I didn't really care." That'd been one of the only pets he ever had. Not because his mom wouldn't allow it. Just 'cause they'd moved around a bit and were usually staying in an apartment.

He tilted his head and kissed her neck softly after a second or two. "I'll make breakfast for you sometime...promise." Of course he figured she was pretty lucky that she lived above a bakery now.

"Tropical s'nice. So is camping...we could do that..." She deserved a vacation. But it was hard for someone in their roles to take a few days off. Responsibility doesn't allow it.

He grinned at her question and gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. "That one s'not so easy." He licked his lips as he thought about it. "I don't have control issues..but I do like being in control. But..maybe girl on top?" He was thinking about all the different ways, really. "What's yours?"

At the thought of him suggesting that she could dance on the hood of his car she had visions of Whitesnake videos. Of her being the busty redhead writhing on the hood of his car. That made her laugh a little at the thought. Just 'cause she could never picture herself doing that but he didn't have to know that. "I think I might just have the perfect pair of boots like that in my closet. Maybe you'll get to see them someday."

Spending the day with him on her birthday sounded fine to her. "Spending any day with you at all is fine with me pretty much." When he told her his birth date she filed it in her memory to make sure she did something special for him.

"Maybe if it's just for a night or two?" Sol figured that they could take that small amount of time to themselves. It'd be nice to get away from the city but she also knew that even though she was recovering this was pretty much her vacation time for a while.

"Well... up until a few days ago I would've said me being on top hands down. The other night in the shower however? Kinda made me change my mind." It could've been a fluke how good it was she thought, but she really didn't think so.

Changing the topic completely she asked, "Favorite memory?"
